Should be great entertainment for a stormy night like tonight will be here. Didn't think I'd care that much for the Potter movies, never read the books, but I thought the first one was quite entertaining (very well done). So I have good hopes for this one. Richard Harris' last movie too.

I chose this morning to transplant two plants (a bird's nest spruce and a Lavender) that needed to be moved in my backyard.

That involved a good deal of mud too (rained so hard the dogs wouldn't go out in it!)

At least you can be thankful for Dalmation feet. Even Logan my labrador has hairier feet than Gidget the Dal/mix. But Zulu the Cocker has these enormous mops on her feet when she isn't trimmed. I have been working on her this afternoon. Bath, combing out and feet trimming for winter.

Yes indeed...on this nasty gray gloomy [muddy] day, we need something sunny and beautiful to look at (and I get to post another photo, heheheh 2Jedismom has created a monster).

My favorite place to ski in the whole world:

That's Deer Valley in Park City. Looks nice on day like this here (looks nice any day, for that matter).

Think of how clean the dog's feet would be in that weather...

There, I have reached 40,000 words. What have you done today?

Less than 40,000 words! I have further contemplated the existence of witches, trimmed toenails on 12 dog paws, shampooed combed and blow-dried small dog... vacuumed and run a bit of laundry, cleaned stalls and put in fresh horse bedding... Watched the SE Appendix disc 2, and solved all the world's problems in a two-hour phone conversation with a friend...
