Well...how much can I tell? It was sort of a burglary, but they didn't find what they were looking for 'cause he had it with HIM. So...they track him down, they get what they're looking for.
Maybe I'll have him go to some really scummy hotel that doesn't ask questions. I hate to do that to him...but it might be the safest!

11 minutes to Magnificent Seven. Time to make hot chocolate!
To: Overtaxed
That's a movie, right?
300 words! Three hundred lousy words! I'll strangle it out of him somehow...
To: Overtaxed; Ramius
I could let him be the judge of that! - Should I ping him? ;~D Ramius.... Rosie is writing a story, and her character just got broken into, and she wants to know what he would likely do. start at
39550 OT - It is a feeling you can't predict until it happens to you, knowing that someone has been in your house. It is disturbing and scary, armed or not.
So I went up there to let him share it... mourn the loss of his stereo, keep him company so he wasn't checking the windows all the time, and sleep with our guns...

Hullo!
Don't be intimidated by the length of the thread. You don't have to read the whole thing! - Just jump in anywhere!
To: RosieCotton
So does HE know they are after him? Or does he just think it was a break in? (I could read up)
To: RosieCotton
That's a movie, right?Yes. It's the western remake of Seven Samurai with a really good soundtrack. Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, James Coburn,....um...that guy from Man from UNCLE (I forgot what his name is). Oh yeah, and Charles Bronson. I forget who the other two are.
To: HairOfTheDog
My character also has the added fear of knowing that they didn't get what they were looking for, and that they will probably realize he has it with him.
I think I've got him settled, but I'm certainly open to suggestions!
To: RosieCotton
Did you send him to the seedy motel?
To: Overtaxed
I believe I saw that. Really good, as I remember.
To: HairOfTheDog
Not yet, but I'm working on it! I may have him be confident enough to just stay somewhere...he's only going to stay there one night, so maybe it's an OK risk.

Good evening! I just finished watching the President's press conference from today. What a great guy.
The guys are playing chess, Joshua has already gone to bed and I am contemplating popcorn...
To: HairOfTheDog
He knows, at least deep down.
Almost there, and then I'll post today's stuff! Down to 150 words to go!
To: 2Jedismom
I am contemplating popcorn... Is that like Imagining World Peas?
Consession dance
To: RosieCotton
I believe I saw that. Really good, as I remember. I like it too. Yul Brynner is the macho guy....a lot better than Tom Cruise. :)
To: Overtaxed
*gag* *gag* *cough* *cough* *sputter* *puke*MUST you mention THAT name in my presence???
To: HairOfTheDog
I can imagine French Peas.. like on veggietales. But not world peas, or whirled peace.
