How was your day?

Very busy, very tiring, thank you. Today was the first day for a new tech on this contract, which brought us up to our full staffing. First full day of installs. Spent the morning bringing the new guy up to speed on how things worked, but he picked it up very quickly and I think he'll do well. Hopefully by the end of this week the routine will be settled enough that I'll be able to do some FReeping from work!

Only while I'm waiting for installs to finish, of course!

Hullo! I had a good day and am relaxing just a bit now, finishing off this chapter. It's longer, yay, and going places I wasn't expecting. Space Opera is too fun... it should be up in an hour or so, bar a major explosion.

Steve took the boys to Wolf Cubs. I am preparing a hot beverage for myself...just tea, this time, as I needed to be peeled off the ceiling last night after the espresso.

Be of good cheer! You are still producing, and still have some hope of finishing the entire thing. I have decided that I will probably not finish the 50,000 words this month, as work is leaving me feeling too drained physically and mentally to work on my story. However, i will keep plugging away and get as much done as I can.

Was sorry to hear about your little one being sick, hope he gets well with quickest speed!

Space Opera is too fun

Yes! That's why I made mine a space opera. I've even thrown in a couple of references to some classics of the genre, mostly in the form of character names.

Rose read my start, for the first time... says it needs some editing. I've drafted her to do the editing for me, since I am unable to edit my own writing!

What wonderful timing. I watched FOTR for the third time last night and cried three times. But I have to know. Was the same actor cast for the cave troll in FOTR as in Harry Potter? He looks the same.

No editing yet! It's just this galactic empire is very cool. Maybe next time I'll write about them... I really can't justify more than another day and a half in this universe, not if my story's going to work out right.
