Analytic chemist. Most of my experience is in Environmental and Agrochemical industry although I have a little experience in pharmaceutical industry (really...how hard is it to dissolve a pill and shoot it on an LC?)

Don't you think it is funny that we were all in the chat room because FR was down, but then when FR came back up no one posted much in here?

We just feel better knowing it is here? - And it drives us crazy if it is not, even if we don't have much to say?

[sigh]

Now... As you know land conservation through private buyout of land someone wishes to be protected is a cause I can support. These folk even speak on their website of trails for public use as part of their mission, so I like them even more if they don't feel they have to keep people out of the woods to protect the woods.

On the morning of the 16th, HOW MUCH would I pay for the chance to see it two days before everyone else? $250? Who much would you pay Penny?

but then when FR came back up no one posted much in here?

I just got back on the computer after this morning, so I hadn't noticed it was back up; sure am glad it is, though!

After our pancakes & sausage, I had several errands to run. I finally got a GREAT double griddle for the stovetop. It is a Calphalon, and I normally wouldn't pay what they want for it, but I had a 20% off coupon, and it is the ONLY griddle that will FIT on my stovetop. Instead of the handles coming out parallel to the cooking surface, this pan has slightly raised edges and the handles come UP, perpendicular to the surface. It is even oven safe, so I'm gonna use it when I want to roast turkey, ham and chicken. They will be much easier to get out of the oven with the upright handles on the pan. But I'm sure going to enjoy doing the usual pancakes, french toast, etc. on it!

So to make a short story long, I'm just now getting on FR, but will have to get off in a little bit to head to Mass then Confirmation class. I'll make my way through the posts now!

I am soooo envious!

Steve took the boys to choir and I am relaxing alone for a couple of hours!!

My mom bought me a Salton Espresso maker years ago and it came with a video and manual on how to use it and I can't find either! I swear, I've had it for 10 years at least. Now I want some espresso and I have no clue how to use it. I'm looking them up on the web. They were based in Mt Prospect, IL.

Well, here I go. I'm heading up to the attic. God help me. I'm terrified of spiders and if one gets on me I'm liable to have a ring-tailed rigor.

Hey all you Dwarves out there...

I received a catalog with a lot of LOTR stuff in it, including the items below, but our scanner isn't hooked up so I had no way to post pictures. But then Hair posted her link to TolkienTown.com (above) and I went looking and found these:

Gimli's axe

And, for you Dwarves seduced by the power of Mordor...

Dwarven Ring of Power

Apologies if these have been posted before!

Cool stuff!

Well, I didn't find what I was looking for and I started getting an allergy from the dust, so I'm going to shop to look around out there.

I know how to make espresso in most makers.... what kind? - can you find a picture of it?

It is the Electric pressurized steam kind or the kind that looks like a small perk coffee pot?

I don't think they have been posted!

Does the name TolkienTown crack anyone else up?

It reminds me of "WallyWorld" or something.

Looks kinda like this

It has a 4 cup marker on the side (I'm assuming demitasse because there's no way it's four regular size cups)
