Hey all... found my deer in about 20 minutes... he only went 60 yds... wuz holed up in a pine thicket down the finger a ways... critters got to him, but I saved the backstraps, both shoulders and a ham... since the critters got to it, the wardens didn't make me give up a tag... woohoo!!!

Thanks fer the prayers, gotta meet the OCF (Officers Christian Fellowship) Lead for lunch at the O'club... shhhhhhh..... I'm gonna try and sneak back out this afternoon...

I rarely even get near the computer when he is home. Maybe to check my email but if he's home, I only do that very briefly. Which is what started this. He was watching baseball playoffs Sunday, so I took the opportunity to check out the Hole and he got really mad at me, giving me the silent treatment. Despite the fact that he had barely spoken to me for hours because he was watching "the game".

But it's not just the computer. He get's mad if I read in front of him. I sure can't play my whistle anywhere near him. I can't talk on the phone too long. So it's not the computer...it's just whatever happens to tick him off and that can be anything.

His solution was to turn off the computer and he'd turn off the TV and we'd visit together. Ha! I can't think of any thing I'd rather not do. My solution was that I'd be courteous to him, and he is to be courteous to me and otherwise we leave each other alone. Certainly not what I'd hoped for in life, but after 11 years, nothing's going to change and we've got two little ones to raise the best we can.

I guess you could say I flapped.

Actually the Powerpoint presentation is for work. The Arabic is for school. Yes, I am actually working a full time job, a part time job, and going to school full time. The cats are feeling very ignored.

Yeah... sounds good except for the candy. We neither ask nor give candy on Halloween. Instead my family is going to see VeggieTales and I'm going to DB class.

Unfortunately people think that just because it's Halloween and I'm wearing a cape I'm in a costume.

I'm cool with that. My wife will take the boys to the Fall Festival at church. We'll hand out candy and the boys may go around in the neighborhood. We have some fun with the fantasy stuff, but nothing too spooky.

But I can respect those who avoid it altogether.

Dad is rather against it - well, ok, he calls it "Satanfest". We just avoided the whole thing by going out for a family night. Certain places are fairly deserted, like movie theaters, and they'd usually get us ice cream or something, not candy though...

Hey, they got the "stop paying for terrorists" thread out of the Hole! I guess they had bigger fish to fry yesterday.

We're going trick or treating as soon as Steve gets in. Matthew is a police officer and Joshua is some kind of race car driver or something. (It was a cool costume). My dad will take us around his neighborhood in his golf cart.

I'm a slave driver when it comes to trick or treat. We hit one neighborhood after another. I decided that we're not doing any fall festivals this year. They make you play games and such to earn your candy and take up too much time and effort. LOL I'm terrible, I know.

No, the liberal teaches American Government 1... He's okay, now that we've come to an understanding. If he spouts any democratic propaganda, he's going to be hearing from me. Now, it's a huge challenge for him. He likes to bait me... and I bait him right back.

The evil professor is the one teaching the History of Terrorism class. I don't know why he has singled me out for humiliation on a regular basis, but I'm never going to get that upset again. It's not worth it. Besides, as all my Hobbit friends have told me... success is the best revenge. I plan to be successful. I need to realize that even professors can be jerks.

Last night was English... great time.
