They must think you like mopping floors! LOL

Feel like sharing? Are you going to post it where we can read along? Ummm....maybe when I get something more concrete in the way of scenes.
To: Overtaxed
Actually, I don't think they think at all.
But oh, it's so easy to clean!!! I had Steve hack off the end of my mop because it was so long I was afraid it would bonk into the walls...now it's only about 2.5' long! LOL The bathroom is really tiny.

I mean when you start writing. How do you write? Do you start at the beginning and go right through or just write randomly?

Here's my next big project...
The black outline is what our house is now (about 900 sqft not counting the garage). The blue is what I want to do to it.

The screened in porch is set up to where it could have windows...I want windows in it too...like a sunroom.

Well, Looks like a good addition. Good luck on it! You ought to be able to accomplish that in a weekend! LOL!
I am about to get changed and head up to the beach house for a FoTR view on brother's TV again. He said he didn't have the surround-sound set up right at all last time, and that I had to see it again now that it is working! - I don't know what I am missing!
I am going through major withdrawls not having my DVD here. I guess I always could watch the old bootleg, just for old-time's sake...
See y'all later!

So you have a ranch house? I like those plans.

How do you write? Do you start at the beginning and go right through or just write randomly?I usually start at the beginning and go right through unless I get stumped. Then I write up to the stump and then say "something happens to get to this point" and then pick it up from there. Actually I end up starting before the real beginning and the "prologue material" gets woven into the story on the rewrites.

The blue is what I want to do to it. Paging Bob Villa!

Jen, 2 years before we found this house, I drew a picture much like the one above (this isn't it, though...) and prayed that God would help us find this house. I remember saying "God, I like this plan, but I could go with just one bath...or perhaps just a half bath...". We found this house two years later and I had forgotten about the drawing until one day I stumbled on it when cleaning out my old computer. It was just like this pic, except it had a second bath (like this one, remodeled).
I should have been more specific about that 2nd bath. LOL
To: 2Jedismom
There is such a difference between one bath and two baths, it's amazing. Of course, you really can't have 9 people in a bath-and-a-half house... So I'll glad we have three and a half!

The Dwarves have been eeriely quiet today.
Sheesh! Can't a dwarf do a little work around the house?
I didn't bother trying to log in last night. I was so annoyed yesterday that I didn't want to try. (tell me again why I should reinstate my monthly donation Hair?...(I know, I know...)
Did some work on the house and in the yard last night then watched the rest of the movie. Considering watching it again tonite. Although I may watch Harry Potter in honor of Richard Harris.
Had rehearsals all day today, then went, bought some mums and pumpkins and spruced up the front yard. Wife and boys are visiting her dad so she'll be surprised (and hopefully pleased with the color choices).
Just checking in. May or may not be back later tonite. And after church have rehearsals all day again tomorrow. Pretty much like this now for the duration.
Keep it secret. Keep it safe...

I like that idea. It is a great way to get the space you need without having to go to a lot of expense. Are y'all gonna try to do some of the work yourself? It sure would save you some bucks, but it would make the job take much longer!
We've decided to do our remodel in stages. We're gonna start with the Master BR suite over the garage. We don't need to pour any new foundation walls, we'll just have the builder raise the roof, frame it in and put the new roof on the whole house while he's at it! We plan to do most of the interior work ourselves because it is something we like to do, and it will save some money! We'll get a better space for less money by doing it ourselves!

We just got back from a really fun Halloween party. Everyone brings their own pumpkins and we have a carving party! At the end of the night, we light them all up and take a picture. I forgot our camera, but a friend of our took some and will put them on a CD for us. I'll try to post one when we get them.
I had bought the kids a Pumpkin Carving Kit last year, and it had a CD with stencils you could print out, hold against the pumpkin and 'draw' the design by poking holes along the lines and doing cutouts. I did a spooky tree design, and our daughter told me it looked like an evil Treebeard. I decided it must be a Huorn, an orc eating tree!

Why you bashing C-Span? LOL! I haven't watched C-Span in dogs' years.

Sorry about the lack of posts, but yesterday we had to venture into the wild in search of provisions (read: Sam's Club & Wal-Mart trip).
Between that, my afternoon nap, and making a Teriyaki pork roast last night for dinner, my day was pretty loaded.
Today isn't shaping up to be any less involved either. Laundry, (shared) housecleaning, winterizing the house and a trip to Radio Shack will keep me pretty busy. Hopefully I'll be able to work in a nap and some video game time at some point.
Got to run, there is a fell voice on the air...reminding me of what I need to do. "Sure thing, cupcake!"
See you all on Monday!
