The Real World doesn't care if you pass a liberal's mid-term
I hope I can get in here tomorrow and fix some grub for the Hole-dwellers. Stay safe and see you in the morning.
What did I miss today?
Won't a sock full of sand achieve the same purpose? When a friend of my oldest sister's finally admitted that her husband beat the snot out of her on a regular basis, my b-i-l asked my sister what she would do if he ever hit her. She told him that he'd have to sleep sometime, and that when he did, she'd tie his hands and feet to the bed posts and beat the hell out of him with a sock full of sand.
See, I get my 'don't put up with sh*t' attidute honestly; it came from my Daddy, God rest his soul!
Everything except arty stuff and languages. I can't do either.
Anyway, evening all. Looks like you've had some fun, maybe?
Do you know where your wood pile is?
Olympia wood pile may hold clues to target practice
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Investigators were looking into whether a wood pile found at a home in Olympia was cut from a tree that John Allen Muhammad may have used for target practice, television stations reported Thursday.
FBI spokesman Ray Lauer refused to confirm reports that agents had found metal fragments in a pile of firewood here that had been cut from a tree in the yard of a Tacoma home where Muhammad once lived.
The Thurston County Sheriff's Office refused to answer any questions about the wood pile, referring calls to the FBI.
FBI agents Wednesday removed the stump of a tree in the backyard of a Tacoma duplex Muhammad once rented. The stump was to be flown to a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms lab in Rockin, Md., ATF Agent Larry Scott said.
KIRO-TV in Seattle reported that metal found in the tree caused a chainsaw to jam when it was cut in May 2001.
KING-TV said a female relative of the man who said he cut the firewood has been told that authorities may confiscate it.
But first... now not kidding!
Crapes. They'll never believe me now....
You GO girl!!
Gonna type this part out because I haven't heard this discussed in detail before and this is cool!
Question: Are you happy with Treebeard?Peter Jackson: Yes, I am. Treebeard was the last character to be developed because a lot of effort was put into Gollum. There was a very, very brief shot of Treebeard that we used in our R&D phase. Since then, he has developed a lot. We have worked on his textures to make the bark and the moss and his face look real. During the course of that time, we have had to develop other Ents. There are eight other Ents that have been built in addition to Treebeard. They are all different shapes and different tree types with different faces. He is fantastic; I think Treebeard is my favority character in The Two Towers. He just appeals to me. There is something sort of funny about Treebeard. He's not a comedian in the film, but there is something funny about his fussy kind of ways and his old-fashioned attitude. I love the way we have made him quite a pedantic character in the sense that there is no ironic feeling about him. He is very straight down the line and rather fussy. He is an enjoyable character to do scenes with.
