Peppers look good too, don't they?
Unfortunately, I think I'm just having grilled cheese for dinner. :-( However, it IS jalapeño cheese.

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup on a nice cold, dreary, rainy day like today is heaven!

The look on Elrond's face tells you they weren't getting enough whole grains...Then the elves are definitely NOT 'crunchies', you know nuts, grains, twigs type of people!
To: SuziQ; All
OK...good way of remembering it. I can do that.
Time to head out! I'll see you guys tomorrow...

Then the elves are definitely NOT 'crunchies', you know nuts, grains, twigs type of people! AKA "granola munchers".

Maybe we should try improving the recipe by adding a prune filling.Speaking of prune filling, I am looking for a recipe for a cookie my cousins' grandmother used to make. She was Hungarian, and these were tri-cornered cookies that I seemed to remember her calling Kolaches, or something like that. They are similar to Hamentashen(sp?), a cookie that Jewish folks eat at the Festival of Purim. I have a very good friend in NJ whose grandmother always sent her a couple of dozen Hamentashen every year for the holiday and sent an extra dozen for me because I liked them so much.
If any of you know of a recipe that sounds like that, please let me know!
