Woo-hoo! I did it, I did it, I did it! Without even trying, I did it!
To: RosieCotton; g'nad
Whoa Rosie! An honest precious grab?
To: Corin Stormhands
Yep! Ain't ya proud of me?
To: RosieCotton
good one Rosie!...tea cake?...
To: Corin Stormhands
The look on Elrond's face tells you they weren't getting enough whole grains...But I don't think they have lembas at Rivendell.
Come to think of it, maybe THAT'S his problem?
To: RosieCotton
Come to think of it, maybe THAT'S his problem? Well something had to keep that scowl on his face for 3,000 years...

good one Rosie!...tea cake?...Oooh...don't mind if I do!
What a pretty spread!
To: Corin Stormhands
gave him some Ibuprofen and said "deal with it." Baaad parent, baaaad baaaad parent... Nothing wrong with that...it's good to suck it up once in a while...builds character...

Hey, that odd-looking Feadóg I asked about on C&F is going for $20.50 right now! Apparently it is one of the original Feadógs and is like a collector's item!
I wrote the guy doing the auction and he's stunned!

What a pretty spread! aawww shucks...t'warn't nuthin...really...

I do wonder if they were a 'whole grain' food or if the elves only used the creamy unbleached flour. Ummmm....by the constipated look on the faces of some elves, I would say not.

Lembas = digestive biscuits?
To: 2Jedismom
Apparently it is one of the original Feadógs and is like a collector's item! So maybe the guy doesn't want to sell after all?
To: RosieCotton
Lembas = digestive biscuits?Maybe we should try improving the recipe by adding a prune filling.

He doesn't even play! Just picked it up in a garage sale, according to him! Too funny. He said when he checked the counter, he was shocked and then when he saw the latest bid on it, he couldn't believe his eyes!
I just think it's hysterical, but I can't help but think I could have got it for a buck ninety five if I'd kept my mouth shut on C&F! A fellow C&Fer has the highest bid currently...

This is what Bloomfield says about them...
It's a McCullogh Piggott. You can tell by the stickers top and bottom. Highly recommended! I have two or three and they're hands down the best (proto-) Feadogs you can get. But they are almost impossible to get nowadays.
He just asked me for my snailmail address...
To: 2Jedismom
So he's going to send it to you?
To: Overtaxed
OT, you're the scientist, right? Maybe you could work on a version of Liquid Lembas????
To: Corin Stormhands
Are you officially off the wagon?
