But so far, I haven't seen anything to contradict that assessment. That's 'cause I haven't posted my picture yet. How'd you guys manage to get a son that looks like you and a daughter that looks like you wife? D'ja plan it that way?
You have a very nice looking family.

I think I'm becoming a homeschooling believer. I probably shouldn't say this outloud. But on the way home from church today the Mrs. and I were having the "if we decide to homeschool the little one these are the things we'd have to re-arrange in the house" conversation...
To: Corin Stormhands
Well, I'd say you have a great chance of doing a good job should you choose to homeschool your little one. My mind's already made up; that's part of the reason I intend to finish school before getting married. Once I have kids, the career's on hold for decades. Unless my husband is rich and actually wants to stay home and school the kids ;-)

Are you the one who likes Imitation of Life? TCM is showing the 1934 version with Claudette Colbert starting now.
To: Overtaxed
I noticed that. I was referring to the Lana Turner version. I've never seen this one (and am not planning on watching it tonite).
To: Corin Stormhands
I've never seen this version before either. So far they're opening a restaurant together.

Do you still have your streambeam account? If you do could you beam the AOL trailer to me if it's not too big?
Thanks. ;^)

I'm getting ready to log on with the imac...won't be here for the rest of the night. I'll let you know tomorrow how it goes.
To: ksen
I sure will...if there isn't any problems...Here goes!

Thanks, guys, for your prayers. Yes, Corin, she's in God's Hands now, and we're just waiting for Him to take her. We'll be sad to lose her, but will be filled with peace when her struggle is over and SHE'S at peace.
To: Sam Cree
"He's three! He just started writing his name "Josh"" That's remarkable. I think I'm becoming a homeschooling believer.
The cool thing, Sam, is that Josh will be learning along with Matthew for years. There will be many times 2JM will NOT have to teach something to Josh because he already picked it up by just being around when Matthew is learning it.

the Mrs. and I were having the "if we decide to homeschool the little one these are the things we'd have to re-arrange in the house" conversation...Oh it will DEFINITELY be an adjustment, but I think you'll find it one that will be a blessing to your family because BOTH of you are considering it together rather than one having to convince the other.
To: Sam Cree
I just never heard it called a "common," so did not connect it up.I suspect it came to be called that because of the political set up of the New England towns. They were governed by their male citizens, and the town meeting was where the decisions were made 'in common'. It could also have been because that piece of land was held 'in common' by all the inhabitants of the town.

Good evening all!
Well, I have pulled the emerald green carpet up in the bathroom and cleaned up the slab underneath. I have scrubbed down all the walls with soapy water and then rinsed them. I have taped every fixture and all around the window and the tub. Steve cut in the room with primer and I rolled on the primer...I no longer have a green bathroom...well, it's still a little green, but the next coat of primer will take care of that.
I have AOL running and the LOTR site ready to click on.

SOMEBODY FETCH MY MEDICINE!!!!Oh my stars it's fantastic!!!!!!
To: ksen
I can't figure out how to download it to my hard drive! AOL has disabled my right click! It's in RealAudio...
ARGHHHH! Oh it's great! You should see FRODO!!!
To: HairOfTheDog
I can't get it to download...but I stuck my speaker up by my mic and recorded it. I'll put it on the egroup.
Oh, Hair...you're going to die when you see Frodo...
It's horrible quality, but it's good enough!
To: 2Jedismom
Well, dear, I tried to get AOL to download and AOL froze up... I called the 800 number and made sure none of my credit card stuff went through... and now I am back at square one. I was thinking it was divine intervention saving me from AOL... but then, if that were true he would have save you before me..
I am tired so I think I may give up for tonight. I just got home about an hour ago from Dad's and I need to hit the couch.
What do you mean by horrible quality? - it isn't a nice Quicktime trailer like the other official copies? - or poor quality because you downloaded the small version?
To: HairOfTheDog
It's a real small screen and I can't find a way to make it bigger. I took a picture of the actual screen though...so I can post it of Frodo. It's dreadful, Hair...get ready.
To: HairOfTheDog
Also, it's just a bunch of stills...you know how realaudio does on a slow connection. Anyway...the sound turned out great that I recorded and I'll post the audio at least somewhere.
