Yeah - I am here defending McDonalds. I love McDonalds!
Even though my browser/internet/computer is actin really possessed.

WooHoo thank you kindly, Rosie! I prefer Irish pipes to Scottish. I love the more mellow sound of the Uillean (sp?) pipes as opposed to the bagpipes. But when the bagpipes are played well, they are lovely to hear!

McDonald's is bleah. Ping me if they start attacking Burger King.

Burger King fries taste like cardboard. ;~D

I'd rank Wendy's over both McDonald's and Burger King. :)

one of the choirs is an open one that does the Hallelujah Chorus. There are some churches around here that have a "Messiah Sing" every year, so folks can just drop in and sing the part they know. I haven't yet had the chance to do it. I have my own score from when I sang it in college 30 yrs. ago. I hope I can find it before Christmas!! I'd love to sing it again. Sir SuziQ got me the 2 CD set of The Messiah for Christmas a couple of years ago. I start playing Christmas music on Thanksgiving!
To: SuziQ
That early? Infidel! We are strictly forbidden to play Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving. Guess what we wake up to that morning... yes, Mannheim Steamroller, Michael Card, Amy Grant and all the other wonderful sounds of Christmas.

Wendy's makes a good burger... but their fries are bad too... McDonalds has the best fries, and I like the unchanging tradition of the Big Mac! - Give me predictability!

Does his smoldering at that guy who wanted to buy the comic art for his kid qualify as a quiet rant?I guess it could... but I'd gotten so used to seeing him in a long, loud rant in every movie he was in (even "Deep Blue Sea") that his performance in "Unbreakable" kind of stood out for its lack. :)

Ick, I much prefer Wendy's fries over McDonald's fries... and I guess when you use the word "unchanging" you don't count the shrinkage that has occured in the size of the "Big" Mac over the years, hmm? ;)
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Shrinkage? - I thought I just grew up. The house I grew up in seemed a lot bigger then than it does now too ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
Ruh roh... I may be stepping in something bad now... Somebody stop me. I am a danger to myself.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
I refuse to participate in a coversation about "shrinkage"...
To: Corin Stormhands
LOL! Not a surprising viewpoint, really, from a dwarf! ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
Uhm, ok. I'm not one to argue with cherished beliefs. ;)

I'm heading to bed. Here is a knight light.
To: Corin Stormhands
He is a very fine knight light indeed!

That early? Infidel! We are strictly forbidden to play Christmas music until the day after ThanksgivingHey, last year, I just felt the NEED and started playing it before Halloween! Most of my Christmas music is liturgical stuff and Medieval and Renaissance stuff. I love John Rutter's Cambridge Singers, Boston Camerata, Chant, you name it. I have some folky new agey stuff, too; Loreena McKinnett, George Winston, Windham Hill , the Chieftans, and a lovely CD by Carolyn Peyton doing Celtic carols.
But some of my most favorite CDs are by a group called Anonymous 4. It is 4 women who sing a cappella and do music from the Middle Ages, Hungarian carols, etc. It is like listening to the angels.
So some of it is just ethereal music, not just Christmasy sounding music. Then of course I have some stuff like "You Sleigh Me", alternative groups doing Christmas music, and Trisha Yearwood doing a torchy "Santa Claus is Back in Town"! My choices go from the sublime to the ridiculous!

Good night all... going to go to bed and watch the end of "Buckaroo Banzai".
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Movie is full of farging bastages! LOL!
