So now that you've applied the goop to the cat, do you feel like Aragorn after handling Gollum, with a few bite marks and stuff?

She doesn't bite or scratch me. She just wriggles around and tries to get away so it's hard to apply it right.

Well....hard to say. "Traditionally", a lot of the state (mostly eastern) is Scotch/Irish. But they've been around since the 1700's or so so they're more...Southern...than Scotch or Irish. However, since the 70's we've had all kind of outsiders moving in so it's hard to tell what we've got. :)

Oh, well then there's lots of folks of Irish descent at least, which counts IMO. I'm as much Irish as anything, but it's been a long time since we got here. I enjoy "pints," anyway, which is an Irish trait.

I think we have a tendencey to continue thinking of ourselves quite a bit in terms of our ancestry.

I dropped my daugter off in Syracuse, half the town's Irish, seemingly, the other half Dutch, with a good mixture, strangely, of Africans.

You have a nice kitty kat, I think.

Why thank you! I'll be sure to pass that along to Her Majesty.

Hullo all!

I was out running errands today and our local animal league was set up in front of Petsmart (I was not buying fish!). They had a beautiful long-hair solid white kitty...sigh no more big beasts in the Stormhands household...

Just checking in and need to go take care of dinner for the little one. Wife is heading off to work (2-3 more weeks at Wal-Mart at the most). Corin Jr. gets pizza, I get leftovers. That's okay.

Hopefully I'll be back on later tonite. My father-in-law's condition has been up and down all week. He's in having some sort of emergency procedure right now. We don't have the details. So we're waiting to hear. That's the hardest part of all of this...

Later.

So you didn't get the kitty? How could you turn down the phluffy white kitty?

I didn't go buy new fish yet either. Maybe tomorrow I will. Bala is bored.

Wow, we may set a record for slow posting today!

Evening all, watching the Texas at NC State football game here. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Hair, I'm not familiar with Bala behavior... are they less bored with another Bala around?

Well, I don't know for sure that my Bala is bored, it is kinda hard to read his expressions ;~D

But they had a kindof love-hate relationship, they chased each other around now and then, so they seemed less bored at least.

Bear, I was actually quite busy here today, had at least 100 posts this morning.... but both of the threads I was posting have now been deleted (the cosby thing), so it never happened. I could have worked on something else!

Rocko is around, and OT and LinnieBeth and I talked a bit about getting the Green Dragon going again on this thread: Barnes & Noble Free Course The Lord of the Rings

Hi, it was a good day here, my homework is done and I can go to bed as soon as my parents are done and call me to pick them up from their party...

Evening Jen! Did you do anything funny today?

I took my kitchen sink apart! Had a clog. Poured Drano in it... Didn't clear. Took the P trap apart - clean as a whistle! - The clog is further down than I am qualified to find. The rest of the drains in the house are fine. Looks like I call Roto Rooter on Monday.

I am washing my hands in a big bowl. Just like camping!

Funny? I had to do homework. Um... I read part of a book, well, three chapters I guess. Now I'm sitting here, exhausted, trying to stay awake until my parents call for me to come get them from their wine party...

Sounds like your remaining Bala might be happier with a youngster to chase around....

Sorry to hear about the threads you were posting to getting deleted. I don't pay much attention to the rest of the forum any more, so I didn't see them.

Oh I am glad they got deleted, in the long run, but I have very little to show for all the work!

Hi!

Glad you had a good day. Day was ok here as well, watched a lot of football, ate too much junk food, took a nap. Not too bad for a Saturday!

I worked! It's actually kinda fun, working and going to school both. At least I'm rarely bored, and there's always something challenging to do.

No, I meant I did my homework and studying... I worked at that. It's hard to read three chapters on databases on a Saturday!
