I found a cute little personality test site that tells you which LOTR character you are. It's called the LOTR Personality Test and it's at this site:
Hobbit Lore It's kinda fun....I turned out to be Frodo, lol...

I took the test and surprisingly I am most like Galadrial. I guess I am more elvish than I first believed. I thought I would be more like Sam. Maybe that's why I like Legolas so much. hehe :D

That sounds about right to me...hmmm, wonder where that tradition came from...
You see it all the time in swashbuckler movies. The style of it is a bit different, but I think it probably all comes from the same tradition.

That picture of Rivendell is really beautiful and it doesn't surprise me that it's much like the one in the movie! PJ seemed to have a real knack of taking what Tolkien was describing (and what we obviously all saw so clearly and similarly) and putting it up on the screen!
I can't wait till December!

The cliffs and river look like that shot of Rivendell in the movie where you see the Elf (scout?) riding along that road to the right.

Either it's genetics or we are just too much alike. (Which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. :D ) I need to have greater_vortex (husband to those who don't know him yet) do the test to see if he is what I think he is.
