BITE YOUR TONGUE!! EW (ewww!)cannot hold a condle to Sean Bean!! I'm getting one of the "Sharpe" DVDs next week; Sean Bean as Richard Sharpe, a Rifleman in the British Army during the Napoleanic War. I've read all the books and can't wait to see the film versions. Of course Sean Bean being in the role may have a tiny bit to do with it!
(other than myself vis-a-vis Ms. Evenstar, that is)
I'm very glad that you, too, don't think it's the Orcs that are "cute".
But I did notice the typo "condle" (for candle) and did have to wonder if that was something...uh...Freudian...as in candle+fondle=condle...as in Mr. Boromir, that is...
If it's close enough for Aragorn, it's close enough for me (especially when she wears a gown like the one in Hair's spoiler photos today).
Here's a nice sunset for bedtime... and for those who won't see it until morning, just spin it around 180 degrees and it works as a sunrise...
I wonder if I should tell the hobbitses about the award....
I'd take either in a pinch...give me an older woman every time...it's a long story...
There was a hilarious scene in the hall of Meduseld, where Aragorn sombrely warns Theoden, who is brooding in the foreground, They will take you in a little room, my lord, and scan your very skull. They will make small toys of you, that children may play stupid games. (Theoden cracked up at this point).Viggo was cautious about his digital double and stipulated carefully what it could be used for and what not. This was wise, as bored animators can get one's digital double into all sorts of trouble
The doubles were made by scanning actors in their full costume and makeup. Some were much harder than others, with no one really understanding why. It was impossible to make a convincing digital double of Elijah, for example. The doubles were mainly used for populating far-away miniature shots, e.g. running over the bridge of Khazad-dum, and walking up the stairs into Lothlorien.
I hadn't even thought about that - I've only been fiddlin' for four months (well...since the beginning of April) and I've been a fan of hers for MUCH longer, so that hadn't factored into it...
But now I have yet ANOTHER reason to like her! I should relisten to some of her CDs and concentrate more on the fiddle parts, no?
Thanks! I tend to hear my own mistakes rather than the music when I listen to it...my brother plays it sooooo much better than I do! (On the other hand, I couldn't have played that at ALL a few months ago!)
I'd love to hear a duet with you and 2JsMom
You missed our chat the other day - we did just that! I sent a recording of a song we both know to 2J, and she played along with it in the Yahoo chat room. Worked out great!
