I thought JHoffa was under Giant Stadium. My Mom always thought he was dumped in a swamp in Upper Michigan.
Or maybe he's part of a chassis for a Buick...or folded up and inside a cornerstone. :)

Sorry doll... ummmm gotta go now - half done cleaning my fish tank!

Go on as your were!OK!

Fish tank? Do you really have fish? That's boring. I'm having some problems with FR, nothing wants to open right, so I may have to restart. No fun.

It could be all of the above!

From
Who2.com:
Hoffa was the powerful and controversial leader of the Teamsters Union from 1957 to 1971. Often alleged to have ties to organized crime, Hoffa was finally convicted of fraud and jury tampering in 1964 and served four years in prison before his sentence was commuted by President Nixon. In 1975, while trying to regain power in the union, Hoffa disappeared from a restaurant parking lot in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He was widely assumed to have been killed by the Mafia. His body was never found, and in 1983 he was declared legally dead.
Neat website, by the way!

Yes, I have fish...
Why boring?. I have had these particular ones for
years... They are Bala Sharks... two of them, about 6 inches long. Sometimes I think of selling them back to the fish store because they are too big for my tank... but I guess they and I have worn a groove with each other. Fish are decor, and I like to watch them.

In the middle of vacuuming out the gravel... taking a break....

Fish are just kinda pointless, IMO. I don't catch 'em, I won't eat 'em, and I think they're smelly. So it would be ok with me if all the fish died and left the ocean to the good food items, like lobsters and crabs. And shrimp. The octopussies should die too, but we can keep whales and dolphins because they look cool and make neat movie stars. Who ever heard of a movie about a tuna fish?

Well, your sense of how ecosystems work has a few holes in it. I am not sure what you expect the dolphins and the lobsters and the crabs to eat. The live ones don't smell and not all creatures have to have a point!

Mmmmmmm.....

So it would be ok with me if all the fish died... So it's your fault another goldfish died? Don't know what happened this time. Looks like I should change the water again, but I just put 'em in there Thursday...
Hullo all. G'nite all.
Looks like I missed another semi-precious and the wife needs the computer anyway. See you in the a.m.

Looks like I missed another semi-preciousI was here, and I missed it. Oh, well.
Have a good night!

Are you treating the water? Goldfish need aquarium salt and a ammonia/clorine treatment. Goldfish are also very dirty fish, so if your tank or bowl is small it will need to be changed very frequently. They also can't take changes in temperature of more than 4 degrees... must be very careful to put new water in that is the same temperature. And goldfish need live (phonetic-no idea how to spell it) annackerous grass or they get a bit constipated. Did you do those things?
To: HairOfTheDog
Goodness, I never knew goldfish were so sensitive. I always thought they were a very hardy fish.
In the novel Lucifer's Hammer goldfish who had escaped into the wild after the destruction of human civilization grew big and fat... lots of food and no predators...
But that was just a science fiction novel, not serious literature...
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Well it's late, and I'm dopey from antihistamines, so good night all.
Have a sunset...
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
OOO! Nice sunset, Bear! Is that our night light?
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
They are hardier than the tropical fish that I have... so relatively speaking they are hardy. At least goldfish can be at room temperature... mine need to be between about 80-85 degrees and have have a filter and aeration system. Their room is clean now.
To: HairOfTheDog
Their room is clean now.I'm sure they appreciate it, Hair. I had a 10 gal. aquarium when I was in college. I lived at home, so I didn't have to worry about dorm rules, etc. It was just so much work to keep up! When the last fish died, I just took the thing down.
Didn't have another pet until we inherited Pokey the turtle from our #2 son's former girlfriend. We had him for about a year and a half. Sir SuziQ felt sorry for him because he was always swimming into the walls of the big plastic container we had him in, trying to get out! We gave him to another homeschooling family that had two other turtles. I saw the mom the other day and she said Pokey has settled in just fine and is having fun with his new friends!
