hehehe... you know, this year is turning out to be a pretty good one for movies. Next weekend it's Road to Perdition and Reign of Fire.

Reign of Fire looks like it might be really cool. What else do we have to look forward to until Two Towers?

Well, there's this:

Maybe not...

It varies for us... last summer we saw maybe one movie. This summer we're going to see quite a few.

Off to the grocery store... back in an hour or so...

I saw The Royal Tenenbaums three times, and plan to buy the DVD this Tuesday.

Yeah, might go see that... Shymalan is a great director, and I don't think Mel Gibson's half bad. After seeing the preview 15 or more times, though, I'm not sure.

I saw The Royal Tenenbaums three timesThat's the sort of movie that I like to watch when it comes out on cable.
Signs
Oh, yes, we'll see that one in the theater. My wife and I are two of the few people who enjoyed Unbreakable.
Other previews we saw today were for James Bond: Die Another Day (out in November), Star Trek: Nemesis (out in December), and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (due out next summer).

brrr! - what a cold place that is!
[sigh] still over dealing with heady issues... How are the hobbits? - cheerful? - Quiet? Getting ready for the week ahead?

It's Westminster Academy, here in Richmond.

I didn't even hate the squirrels who made a habit of coming down our chimney into our house. We visited a reindeer farm in Alaska once. They had a problem with one that liked to come into the kitchen...

I think it may have been attached to MiB2, because I'd never seen a cartoon in that theater before... We saw that too. I think it's part of MIB2. Kinda like Pixar did with the lamps and the Toy Story movies...

Getting ready for the week ahead? Sigh, it's back to the office tomorrow. I've enjoyed my week off even if I did work around the house.
Just got back from Greensboro. Took Corin, Jr. and his cousin (who spent the week with us), back to my sister-in-law's house. My son (now 13) has spent time with her every summer since he was three. He'll be there for two weeks, which we think is too long, but they think it will be okay. I'm thinking he and his cousin will tire of each other before that (the cousin is 16).
So tomorrow, back to the salt mines (maybe I'll strike it rich and hit some mithril and retire early).
Gonna sign off now and hit the hay. G'nite all.

Good night Corin!
