I LOVE that last verse to the "Star Spangled Banner"! Oddly, the first time I ever heard it was at the 'sign-off' of a PBS station in Tallahassee FL back in 1976! It was two women singing with just guitar accompaniment. They went into harmony on the line "And conquer we must, when our cause it is just", and finished the verse in that harmony. It was just beautiful!

Happy 4th everyone!
Overtaxed, that was a good night light with the entire earth from in space or whatever it was. Interesting, a town as small as Nassau, Bahamas showed up, though Bimini was not visible. The South Florida coast really shows up. The night after Hurricane Andrew passed through, though, and there were no lights, then you could see millions of stars.
Going to some friends later to celebrate, God bless everyone + our country.

Just got back from Men in Black 2 - it was quite fun. Now dinner's only an hour and a bit away, then downtown to see the fireworks!

Hi, everyone... looks like all the Hobbits have found things to keep them busy. We just got back from
Minority Report. It is quite a good movie, I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys SF movies.
