Palo, I can just imagine miss Lulu sitting out and enjoying herself...we are all waiting for the LuLu cam to be set up, so we can watch her strut her stuff for us....
We had a general bit of excitement here last nite...at 4am, I thought I was having a dream, and in the dream a big dog was barking...then I woke up...and I heard this big dog barking and men hollering, all right next door to me...now I know the man next door has two small weiner dogs, so I knew right away, it was not them barking...
Then I heard the men hollering again, and was trying to make out what they were saying...mind you, I was rather foggy from having been awoken from a deep sleep...
I flicked on the backyard spotlight, and opened the door...someone from next door, told me to close the door, a police search was going on...
Must have been some robber, or rapist or some such criminal trying to make an escape from somewhere, and the police dog must have tracked him down to my next door neighbors yard...I guess they had the guy down on the ground, and he kept trying to move, and they kept telling him to be still, and the dog kept barking every time the suspect moved...eventually they got him in their car, and the dog shut up, but apparently there was another suspect, they were trying to find...the suspect they had was trying to tell them, that there was a garbage dump behind all of our houses, and that is where the other guy went...well, thats not true...there is certainly no garbage dump behind us, but rather a county green belt, which leads into the playground for the elementary school....
Anyway, a few minutes later, we could see searchlights being used in back of our house, into the county green belt...we have very little crime here, in our little section of Olympia, so it was all very exciting....
Well, need to go to the store again today...need to pick up the corned beef and cabbage for the traditional St Pats day....and need to pick up much beer for the celebration...of course the beer drinking will begin promptly here tonite, at 5pm...
So, see you all later, when I am good and relaxed from my days shopping and my body is tingling with some good ale...
My friends and I have been talking about doing the brewery tour. We haven't been since Miller bought it. They have been fixing it up. I hear they have reopened the catwalk over the bottling room. We haven't been able to see that since I was a kid. I am sure there is still free beer at the end!
