I almost feel bad for Angie Nixon. Sometime tonight, after the Panhandle brings it home, she’s going to find out that millions of Floridians don’t want her representing them in the United States Senate, and she’ll have to confront the possibility that the problem might actually be Angie Nixon.
Just kidding. We all know that’s not happening.
She’s already figured out who to blame. Florida is racist. The voters are racist. Apparently even the Democrat donors think so.
Talking with Politico’s Dasha Burns last month, she complained that national Democrats were staying out of her race because “they think that the state is racist.” Asked about it by CNN, she talked about a “level of racism” in Florida she’s trying to overcome.
What a wonderful arrangement. If she wins, she’s overcome racism. If she loses, racism won. At no point does Angie Nixon have to consider whether Angie Nixon might be the reason people aren’t voting for Angie Nixon.

And when the race gets called tonight, and Nixon starts explaining what must be wrong with the millions of Floridians who rejected her, I hope somebody asks her a question she hasn’t considered.
What if it isn’t Florida?

The writer of this column knows the Democrats are getting blown out in Florida and is already posting Angie Nixon's political obituary.

Nixon is just a stupid libtard women......deep in her core. Skin color means nothing.
Putting out the notion that national Dems aren’t supporting her because they believe the state’s voters are too racist, is somewhat clever, and has no downside. AWFLS and spineless independents might bother to vote for Nixon to prove (to themselves) how unracist they are.
I think when she loses, in her concession speech, she will tell Florida “You won’t have Nixon to kick around anymore…”

I saw Richard Nixon say that live on TV when I was 12, right after he lost the governor's race in California in 1962.
I doubt she has the brains to be a “racist.” She’s still down at the bottom of the Moron List.
There was one of those liberal ho’s standing on the corner at the intersection that goes into Walmart. The poll was on the other side of the road. She was wearing her Halloween Little Red Riding Hood “Handjobmaiden Tails costume and the white Elizabethean dog collar they wear to keep from licking them selves. She had some kind of sign written in Head Start lingo in Crayolas.
