On Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced what it called the “largest monitoring effort in DOJ history,” saying it would deploy agents to monitor and observe elections for the first time in the nation’s history.
"Today, the DOJ will further this mission by engaging in its largest monitoring effort in history—with approximately 1,000 election monitors and observers deployed, and, for the first time, in all 50 states," the Department of Justice's press release reads. "The effort is coordinated by the Civil Rights Division. Monitors will include personnel from the Division, other DOJ divisions/components, U.S. Attorney’s Offices and federal observers from the Office of Personnel Management. Throughout Election Day, Division personnel will maintain contact with state and local election officials."

Thieves tend not to be thieves when they think they are being watched.

Monitors
hmmmm... I’m curious how much jurisdiction and investigative agency these ‘monitors’ have, or is it going to be the same old story where local bureaucrats can bully them out of actually being present where the shenanigans allegedly take place.
The lefties know the motive behind it but kleptomaniacs don’t believe they’re thieves.
I believe the DOJ has the authority to arrest anyone breaking election laws. Someone please correct this if this is not right.
I am not a lawyer, but under the constitution, these are State elections.
nothing short of full transparency was satisfy me. live streaming from every polling place including drones in the air as well as fixed positions throughout these facilities.
Yeah, they are State elections, but rules governing those elections that include a federal portion are subject to federal rules. The direct relevant quote from the Constitution:
“The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.”

1. Know when your polls close
Closing times vary by state and sometimes by county. Look yours up before you head out.
2. Get in line before closing time
As long as you’re in line by the time your polls close, you can still cast your ballot.
3. Don’t leave the line
Even if the line is long, stay put. Bring water, a snack, or a chair if you need one.
4. Have a mail ballot?
Drop it off today at an official drop box or your election office. Check your state’s deadline.
I hope the catch every illegal alien bass turd that dares to vote and fires their scrounging ass back across the Rio Grande.
I hope President Trump will get to rest a little after all he has done to save our nation.
They have already got a lot of to work with. They best follow through.
It’s been repeated 100 times. Federal elections are different than state elections.
Not when it involves representation to the US Congress. Then it’s Federal rules.
LOL!
Michigan Democrats are crying about the DOJ in Dearborn and Flint.
Michigan’s attorney general Nessel is paralyzed with fear over the head-chopper having a chance...
When federal law is broken, yes.
And many are often broken when dems steal elections.
