I read that and my first thought was “Those Babylon Bee people are pretty funny.” Thune is hopelessly compromised so his idea of not standing idly by probably involves nothing more than a lot of foot stomping and wah-wah-wah-ing.

That makes me chuckle. Does he mean “not sand idly by” like they have been doing for years? Ugh! Opportunities missed.
What Senate republican accomplishments, exactly, is Thune talking about? They didn’t do squat.
Thune’s inaction is exactly why Republicans didn’t show up to vote. I’ve spoken to many people and they just didn’t care any more. I mean, if there is no improvement with the R party, why bother supporting the R party?
