Hillary Clinton thinks we should have 13 Supreme Court justices. Here’s why that matters.
MS NOW ^ | October 24, 2026 | Paul Waldman

Hillary Clinton may no longer be the most influential voice in the Democratic Party, but she remains a member in good standing of the party establishment. So when she expresses support for expanding the number of justices on the Supreme Court, it tells us that what was once a radical idea has gone mainstream.

“We should seriously look at expanding the court while the Democrats are in power,” Clinton said on a recent podcast. “You know, it used to be that you’d have one justice for each circuit. We now have 13 circuits, we should have 13 justices.”

Adding four justices to the court is just one of the potential reforms that have been suggested as a way of curbing the court’s abuses. Others include 18-year term limits for justices, ethics rules with actual teeth (no more billionaire-funded junkets for you, Justice Thomas) and limits on the court’s ability to strike down any law they don’t like.

Of course. I am sick of it.

I stood out for several hours today to BACK UP and say aloud what I believe in, in this bluest of blue states where we haven't got much of a chance of changing anything, but we do it anyway.

I got accosted by a Leftist pussy (like this ones with TDS we see on this forum) who pulled into the open parallel park space behind me, got out of his car and began ranting at me about being on the wrong side of a one way road, and at first, I thought it was one of the people from the next town over coming to join us, and was good-naturedly busting my chops...but I was confused because his mannerisms didn't match his words.

While I was digesting this, he persisted, and walked right up to me and bumped chests with me, and his nose was an inch from my face. Not kidding. One inch.

He pointed at the stack of signs in the back of my car and let loose a string of profanities which I couldn't quite decipher, but...I wasn't confused anymore-I said "Oh, you're one of them?

He said "F*** you...what are you going to do about it?" I told him: "F*** off, you emotionally incontinent pussy" and grabbed my signs and walked away.

The same panicked, emotionally incontinent Trump Derangement hate and anger I see from the usual suspects on this forum. In retrospect, I like it. Republicans may lose both chambers of Congress, but when these kind of people react as they do, it gives me hope, because deep inside they somehow know, as stupid and ignorant as they are, that they are on the wrong side.

Again, it is bucking history to think we may prevail. But I have never been one to align with an unpleasant situation based wholly on historical precedents. I want context if I do that. and I see six signs things may be different, and I am willing to subscribe to those: Analysis shows six good things for Republicans if the fraud by the Left can be controlled:

  1. Republicans have had a wide edge in voter registrations since 2024. Places like Florida are particularly one-sided in that respect.

  2. Democrats, known for decades for their aggressive "Get Out The Vote" campaigns to register new Democrat voters, has been invisible this year. We don't know if this is because they are dispirited, or more likely, their sources of money for all their scummy "bipartisan" non-profits such as USAID have been taken down.

  3. Early turnouts for voting show Republicans are way up over 20% over where they were in 2024, a Presidential year. This is an outlier for a mid-term election.

  4. The Trump Administration could not get the SAVE America Act passed, but the Trump DOJ has been aggressively pursuing purging of voter rolls of non-citizens, and has been loudly and publicly prosecuting non-citizens who have voted, and putting the screws to California via lawsuits for non-compliance as well as pointed threats to prosecute anyone who knowingly aids processes that allow illegals to vote. There is a lot of publicity around this, which I believe is the point.

  5. They have a historically disgusting, pathetic, and anti-American slate of candidates nationwide such as Al-Sayed in Michigan, Talarico in Texas, and Osborn in Nebraska just to name a few.

  6. They are dusting off both Obama and the two Clintons to try to get out the vote.
None of these things guarantee that Republicans can keep control of Congress in a mid-term year, but...these are not indicators in a vacuum. I smell fear in them.

We may indeed lose both the House and Senate, but if we do, that is part of God's plan, and I do trust in God. It may not be the path I would choose, but if God chooses it for us, I trust it, because...God does not make mistakes.

Trump should say he agrees — and then nominate four next week. The RATs think they’re the only ones who can “stack the court”? Really?

Trump could nominate Mark Levin, Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis and Stephen Miller.

Hillary wants whatever gives 'the win' to democrats...

Professional democrat manipulators will come up with plausible (but false) excuses why it's okay. It's won't be.

“Trump could nominate Mark Levin, Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis and Stephen Miller.”

If Hillary heard that, they’d be tossing her smelly body into another minivan. She’d stroke out.

An unrestrained Supreme Court makes Congress and the President powerless and irrelevant.

They are openly calling for a dictatorship by the judicial branch.

How long until the court finds a constitutional reason for them to live on giant federal estates with private armies. What’s Congress going to do? Change a law? Ruled unconstitutional! Amend the Constitution? Ruled unconstitutional! Go down this path and there may be no way off.

Im really sorry you had to go through that. I live in Commiefornia so I feel your pain, literally! We here basically keep our political beliefs to ourselves..the media here is 10000 percent commie, not one conservative in sight, if there are any they hide it too..we have a disgusting governor who set the palisades on fire to “Reimagine” it in his own commie vision, no one cared, the mayor is a sack of sh*t who destroyed a once beautiful los angeles, we could have had spencer pratt but NAH, they had to rig it so the hobos got registered and they voted in their names, so here its corrupt to the core, the ONLY ones here who have any rights are illegals who keep the dems in power. I Fear for my country, what its becoming..the Dem party used to not be like this, before Obama yeah they had different beliefs but they were sorta sane, but Obama destroyed the Dem party and turned them into what we see today, and its scary..I fear for my nephews, my niece, what will happen to us all scary times indeed, just gotta keep praying thats all we have

What was better in the long run for America: Obama or McCain in 2008? What was better in the long run for America: Obama or Romney in 2012? In the short run, eight years of Obama was painful for the country, but without those eight years there wouldn't have been Trump in 2016. And a Trump consecutive second term would have accomplished far less than the term he earned in 2024, with the whole world seeing the demented and decrepit Biden, then the idiotic and Barbie-ic Harris. God knew what he was doing the whole time, and still does. Kyrie eleison, Christe eleison.

Eventually, that will happen. That is probably one of the flaws of the Constitution.

What if the Democrats take over? It'll be easy for them to pack the court.

And just like that, our country will turn into an one-party state.

They are openly calling for a dictatorship by the judicial branch.

They don't give a d*mn who is/are the dictator(s), President, Primier, Emperor, Central Committee, Court of the People's Republic, as long as they get their way, and then when they change their minds on something, still get their way anyway.

I agree 100% about Trump and his second term. It was, in the end, better that he had four years in the wilderness to contemplate, and boy, did he learn.

I throw up in my mouth thinking of a Romney presidency...even though I voted for him. McCain, too.

Nine Supreme Court justices are enough! They serve for life! Don’t mess with the Constitution, as it has been interpreted for a very long time!

Hillary was the commencement speaker at her Wellesley graduation, and received department honors. Then she went to Yale law school, married bill clinton, and eventually became First Lady, a Senator, Secretary of State, and the Democrat nominee for President.

She lost the Electoral Vote to Donald Trump, but won the popular vote. Many partisan Democrats therefore have been agitating to abolish the Electoral College. Once again— don’t mess with the Constitution, as it has been interpreted for a very long time!

In her service as Secretary of State (Benghazi) and her Presidential campaign, Hillary has proven to be batshit crazy! And she has gotten crazier and crazier with every year! America really dodged a bullet when we refused to elect Hillary as President, and we must continue to refuse her prescriptions for our political life!
