Three years of verified evidence——perhaps the most extensive spree of illegalities by a House
member in American history-——appears to be probable cause to investigate Omar for the following;
<><>eight instances of perjury,
<><>immigration fraud,
<><>marriage fraud,
<><>up to eight years of state and federal tax fraud,
<><>two years of federal student loan fraud,
<><>including bigamy.

The maximum legal penalties for her individual charges break down as follows:

Immigration / Marriage Fraud Federal Up to 10 years
(Can increase to 15 years if connected to broader fraud schemes) 18 U.S.C. § 1546
Perjury / False Statements Federal Up to 5 years per count 18 U.S.C. § 1621 / § 1001
Bigamy State (e.g., Minnesota) Up to 5 years
(Up to 9 years in states like Maryland) Minn. Stat. § 609.355

How Real-World Sentencing Works-——If an individual is convicted of multiple offenses, the actual time served rarely equals the sum of all statutory maximums. A judge determines the final sentence using several guiding principles.

There was a post last night here or on X about why no African Americans spoke up for Jessie Smollet when he had his incident in Chicago.

Then Dave Chapelle made it into one his funniest comedy routines. Why didn’t the brothers and sisters come out in support of Juicey? We supported him in our silence, because we knew that N#gger was lying.

The smart Dems are supporting Omar the same way. With their silence.

Instead of defending Omar or launching party rallies,
Democrats “deflect” to make Republicans look bad.

Dems frame their push-back around “institutional concerns”—
conspicuously NOT defending actual claims against her.
<><>questioning DoJ’s timing
<><>slamming procedural rules.

Democratic leaders have shown a muted or cautious response rather than full-throated unity following recent federal investigations and attacks targeting Rep. Ilhan Omar, reflecting broader political calculations within the party:

• Rep. Omar is a prominent progressive, and mainstream or moderate Democratic establishment figures often hesitate to tie themselves too closely to the party’s left wing out of concern over how it plays with moderate or independent voters.

• Recent federal attention involving Omar—such as a pre-dawn search of her D.C. home tied to an ongoing federal/immigration investigation—has put party leaders in a complex spot.

• While some Democrats have criticized the timing of the action (noting it happened close to an election and violated traditional Justice Department norms against public actions near midterms), mainstream leaders have generally stopped short of offering full declarations of innocence or mounting a coordinated defense campaign.

• Over the years, some of Omar’s remarks regarding Israel, foreign policy, and 9/11 caused friction and public disputes with members of her own party, making some colleagues more reluctant to mount a unified defense when she’s under attack.

Liz.....I wonder...what name did she use when she signed her tax returns before she was married? (Signed under penalty of perjury of course.)

Her eventual marriage to her current "spouse"... What name did she use on the marriage certificate? Is that marriage legally valid? Invalid??

Did she run for officer under her real name? Did she swear the oath office with her actual name?

How many instances of fraud? How many instances of deceit!

(Candied almond in the oven now.... something to enjoy while waiting for her attorneys to answer these questions! :)
