Am I the only one who has noticed that almost, ALMOST, every college and NFL team has a Furbie as a mascot? Did I make it clear when I say ALMOST I mean “not every”? Oh, what’s the use. Go ahead and tell me how wrong I am by pointing out your team’s mascot that’s not a Furbie. Go ahead. I’m ready to ignore you.

what is a ‘furbie’?

If you mean ‘furry’, teams had animal mascots and people playing them in costumes decades beforre Furry Fandom ever came along.

A person wearing a costume resembling and eagle, a duck or a tree, representing a schools sports mascot, is not a furbie.

Go peddle your goods somewhere else, while I ignore you with a passion. LOL

I went to Pitt “Panthers” games back in the 1950s and they had a guy dressed up in a Panther costume. When they played Penn State their guy was dressed as a Mountain Lion. There was no such thing as a furbe then, so put that in your Texas Eagle costume and smoke it. ;~))
