Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton revisited the video showing her appearing to stagger and nearly faint after a 9/11 commemoration ceremony in 2016, conceding on Wednesday that campaigning while having pneumonia was a “mistake.”
The former secretary of state spoke to Kara Swisher on their new joint podcast about Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico’s nine-day absence from the campaign trail after he said he contracted the flu.
His absence from public appearances led to a viral online rumor wrongly alleging that he had secretly been admitted to an Ohio mental health facility, which Clinton and Swisher said was “easily disproven.”
Clinton compared Talarico’s experience to her own after the 2016 video went viral as she ran for president, arguing that critics portrayed her as being “on death’s door.”
Swisher said that President Donald Trump was “quantumly sicker” than Clinton had been, though “they hide it,” and asked Clinton to respond.
“They tested me and they said, ‘Oh, you’ve got pneumonia. You need to take like five or six days off.’ I said, ‘I can’t do that.’ And my doctor said, ‘Well, that’s what you should do.’ And I thought, ‘Well, yeah, that’s what I should do.’
“But I’m campaigning and I have to show up on 9/11 because it means a lot to me since, as you know, I was a senator [during the attacks]. So, I kept going, which was a mistake,” Clinton recalled.

“You mean some weight with that injection stuff? You needed to do it.”
Hillary: “No. Just the election.”
She showed up 30 minutes later at Chelsea’s house fine. Or at least someone who looked like her.
From my experience, if you see Hillary smiling, and there is no dead body near, it’s not her.
She’s lying. (again) She also lost her mind. But that was a long time ago.

Of all the things I’ve lost, I miss my mind the most.

I remember that! Image processing should be used to image what was behind the welders’ eyeglasses.
But Hilary did say her pulse oxygenation was 99% ... A ludicrous, incredible impossibility.

She was a hot mess back in the later stage of her campaign. Some people thought she had Parkinson's because of a few episodes of what appeared to be dyskinesia.
Plastic surgery? Ha! She still has a face that would scare a bulldog off a meat wagon...AND, surgery won’t change that voice of hers, that can curdle urine!!
Nahhh! Lock...Her...Up.
Please, don’t mind my clone.
“Maybe I should send Old Cankles a “Thank You” card for giving me a chuckle every time I see that video.”
For a few years, every once in a while I’d send a “Thank You” postcard to The Young Turks for the laughs on election night 2016. “BRACE FOR IMPACT!” LOL...
I didn’t know that being shit-faced at 9 AM caused quick on-set pneumonia.
Lest anyone forget, before the video turned up, the incident was being treated as a rumor, quite likely baseless. Had the guy not captured the moment she might have broken that glass ceiling.
But that puts me in mind of how the press reported that Trump had stumbled and fallen on the stage at Butler. And the true disbelievers still think he really wasn’t shot and that it was somehow staged.

Yes-—for humans.
Doctor treating the injured extraterrestrial in ET: “But we don’t know what numbers are normal for him.”
Hillary Clinton has got to give Satan himself the heebie-jeebies.
LOL Never heard that quote before. It’s a good one!

Evil Dead Burn came out in July, 2026. There is hope for her to be in another sequel. No makeup needed. Or special voice effects. She can throw a lamp like her old days as a walk-on audition.
RE: Other than that, as revolting as ever.
“What a revoltin’ development this is!”
