During the summers of 1958 and 1959 my sister and I went to a day camp in the Portland, Oregon ghetto. The camp was 80 percent black, my sister and I are white.
There was never any racial strife. When we had parents day the black mothers who were slim and well-dressed would bring great food for the get-togethers. The black fathers were at work.
And then along came LBJ to destroy the black families and cause racial strife.

I could not agree with you more. I believe that Lyndon Baines Johnson did more to destroy this country Than any single person who has Ever lived on this planet.
My hope is that he was only trying to preserve the vote for Democrats for the next 100 years and not to destroy this country giving it socialism. He has however led us down the path of destruction.
The person next in line for doing the most to destroy this country was Hussein Obama by convincing Biden to open up the floodgates of Illegal Aliens. I tuly don’t think Biden had any idea what he was doing in the White House. His and Obama’s treason to me is worth the gallows.
What Obama and Biden did to Trump to keep him from being elected in and of itself was treasonous and should deserve a death sentance.
LBJ!
That son-of-a-gun should be on a spit-roast in hell. LBJ had JFK killed so his wife, Lady Bird, could keep getting money for transporting soldiers. And he rigged elections in Texas for Lady Bird as long as he lived. Pure power mad scum.
My Dad was stationed at Craig AFB near Selma Alabama in the mid-60s. Out driving on a back road, he slid off and into a ditch. A half dozen big black guys were working in the field nearby. They came over and asked if he needed help. He said yes.
With the black guys and my Dad lifting and pushing, and my Mom at the wheel, they got the car out of the ditch. My Dad offered to pay them and they laughed and said no thanks!
I’m NOT saying there were no racial issues then! IIRC, blacks were 50% of the population and only 2% of the voters. It probably helped that my Dad was obviously military, and while many of the WHITES in Selma refused to do business with military guys (since they were “Feds”!), most of the blacks we met were nice to us.
But that was a long time ago. Craig AFB became minority housing and, last I heard, was a drug-ridden hell hole. The town itself is now 82% black.

On a positive note? It is...”Safer than 7% of U.S. cities.”
