There are unconfirmed reports in Hebrew media that one pilot may have tried to take control of the aircraft with the apparent intention of crashing it, and that the other pilot and passengers intervened.
Which brings up the old question about: “It was not your time to go, but the pilot’s”

Co-Pilot is the hijack attempt.
They landed in SA, I IAF sending military plane to SA to recover the Israeli passengers.
Like in United Airlines Flight 93 the passengers in this case (mostly Israeli) are not going to take a hijacking literally, sitting down. The Israelis don’t take no sh*t. Too bad they did not kill the SOB who tried to do another 9/11 over the skies of Tel Aviv.

It’s confirmed the pilot stabbed the co pilot and attempted to take CJ trol of the plane, either to take a plane load of hostages somewhere or, more likely, crash j to a building in Tel Aviv.
Passengers subdued the pilot and assisted the injured copilot in a hard landing in Saudi.

I do not fly muslim airlines. I do not fly to or through muslim countries.
Sometimes it costs more. I’m going to Nepal on Saturday, and it cost me about $500 more to avoid Dubai. Had to fly Cathay Pacific, sadly, but they won’t just kill me just because I’m a Jew.
