Iman Dashti, a Michigan University student, confronted Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed this week about his habitual whitewashing and rationalization of Islamic terrorism.
Dashti, who said his family is a victim of the Iranian regime’s theocratic persecution, pressed the candidate at a college town hall, asking him numerous times to denounce one of the world’s most odious tyrannies.
Did El-Sayed regret not speaking out against the tyrannical clerics of Iran?
Would he now renounce those who held vigils supporting the mass murderer Ayatollah Ali Khamenei?
Would he “unequivocally” condemn the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — a group that’s not only tortured, imprisoned and killed tens of thousands of Iranian civilians in the past year but is responsible for the murder of hundreds of Americans?
The answer was no, no and no: El-Sayed wouldn’t.
Rather, the candidate offered a platitudinous word salad on how the United States should avoid becoming “the world’s policeman” and how we can still stand “in solidarity with freedom and democracy movements.”
Dashti didn’t ask El-Sayed about regime change in Iran.
He asked the candidate to offer a condemnation of some of the most odious characters in the world.
El-Sayed simply couldn’t do it.

What Sayed carefully avoided saying out loud is that he, like most leftists, sees the 1979 revolution that brought the Ayatollah and the IRGC to power as a “freedom and democracy” movement.
Bravo to that student for confronting Sayed but unfortunately he didn’t quite pin him down. Sayed was able to obfuscate and slither free.
We need an explanation for this? A whole article?

Here’s the truth after all these hemming and hawing…
Anybody who refuses to see that El-Sayed sides with the terrorists — Iran and Hamas is either willfully blind or ignorant or worst — a Terrorist supporter.
He said he wouldn’t say anything harsh when the 9/11 guy died because “a lot of people in Dearborn today are sad”. He’s sooooo sensitive.
If he gets elected he will push for deaths in the US of Jews and Trump supporting Christians without hesitation.
Why condemn those revolutionary guards if he likes that kind of thing?
People like that need to be run out of the country. They should never even be allowed to run for any public office in America. Never.
