I just want to see grand juries created on all this - allow a judge to declare ‘no standing’ or jury nullification to tell us where the country stands.

I don’t know why we need more evidence - election integrity; immigration enforcement and fair trade should be top priorities at all branches. The slow walking of efforts on Congressional level has allowed courts to play politics late in the game to negate perceived accomplishments.

BTW, lack of refineries in US is reason for high gasoline prices. Operating more efficiently now and considered to be maximum output- potentially devastating if Trump Admin pushes not exporting crude oil. A majority of refining capacity is to process the higher sulphur content crude from Canada and Mexico - ‘sweet’ crude oil is what we have in Permian Basin and most shale deposits.

I guess we need to consider more ways to reduce demand besides not buying because it costs too much. I am not a fan but electric vehicles may fit great here to relieve that demand (or the wide acceptance of the 15 minute city idea).

When Biden was President, the Democrats played lawfare hardball....numerous charges, both criminal and civil, brought against Trump and [his] Trump’s associates and his supporters. Conservatives can’t be doormats; we need to do the same.

If patriot conservatives indict and convict people, the charges must stand on the truth and established law—no making it up as we go along; no accusing someone and manufacturing the evidence, no searching for an ostensible crime in all of a person's backstory because of his/her politics.

I suspect that the reason all Trump does is post on Truth Social is because his own lawyers won’t touch it with a bargepole.

Many are terrified that he’ll insist on going to court even if they know their case is nowhere near strong enough to survive Discovery. The judges keep warning Trump’s legal representatives, if all they’re actually doing is firing off speculative lawsuits hoping to “run up the costs” to a point where targets will settle out of court simply because that’s cheaper than fighting to win (which is deeply unethical), they risk being disbarred.

As far as they’re concerned, the Trump family has been getting exponentially richer through dodgy crypto schemes, “made in America” phones that turned out to be old-generation Chinese phones in new wrapping, MAGA hats that are made in China, insider trading. And despite court orders and unanimous support for releasing the FULL list of who’s involved in the Epstein scandal, the DOJ and others are wilfully obstructing it.

As far as they’re concerned, the Kraken against Trump is real, it’s huge, and the only reason we’re not seeing it is because Trump himself is blocking its release.

However, the MAGA view might well be, the reason that Kraken hasn’t been released is because it’s All Fake News. And, of course, if *this* Kraken was always a real, why didn’t the Biden administration release it?

I could rattle on for a page and a half listing examples from right across the purview of Trump appointees who have no real qualifications for their posts other than they are shameless sycophants often from a media or sports background - Hegseth, McMahon, Duffy, Lutnick, Turner, RFK Jr, Patel. There was a time when Idiocracy was implausible satire; Trump made it real.

The most recent obvious example of the Right - well, Trump / MAGA anyway - being even worse than the ‘Rats was in the banning of entire CREWS - the camera operators, the boom mike operators, and the technicians, as well as the front-of-camera folks - from the White House Pool. Not because the personnel have ever been accused of doing anything wrong, but because they’re employed by “fake news”.

The pool is NON PARTISAN. Always has been. At the general agreement of the entire journalistic industry (partly because if they all had to attend every function, ride in every motorcade, pay for their seats on every helicopter or private jet ride, and spend 200 days a year in hotels, they’d all go broke), there’s a rota and whichever one covers an event on that day hands over the entire unredacted and unedited footage to all other participants in the pool INCLUDING their rivals.

Trump has replaced the Pool with an infomercial channel spun up by a guy whose only claims to fame are (a) he makes pillows and (b) his lips are sewn to Trump’s ass.
