But negation isn’t enough otherwise we’d have a half million Charlie Kirks out there and we simply don’t.

Yeah, I know. Everybody teaches that formula. That’s exactly what I was getting at. Exactly.
I have seen some of the curricula. It is clearly superior - math, spelling, etc. We will receive better employees out of the children because of home schooling. That to me is not disputable.
But we aren’t really all that short of employees in the U.S.
I have unmixed, feelings about most government schooled kids.
The large swaths of children I see in public are: socially ill adjusted (do not know how to engage with others outside their age or tribal group); ignorant of anything beyond pop culture; incapable of paying attention for any length of time; unkind; uncharitable; despise infants and young children; have poor posture; speak crudely, have no manners; cannot perform basic mathematical tasks without an aid; appear angry or sullen; have no light in their eyes; cannot take their face away from their phone; dress immodestly or wear clothing with proud language “I. Don’t. Care.”; degrade their bodies with obscene tattoos, piercings, or hair colors; poor workers, even when engaged with low-skilled work (yes, I would like a straw with my drink, why did you forget to put one in the bag and make me ask you for it??)….
And this is all before they become mal-adapted adults.
Now switch to almost every homeschooled children I’ve seen or met: Take the above list and think of the exact opposites.
When I meet a well-adjusted child where it is socially appropriate to engage in conversation, sometimes I will ask, “Do you mind if I ask: are you homeschooled?” “Yes, I am, why do you ask?”
It’s so much more than STEM and the curricula.
