Remember when Senator Barbara Boxer yelled at Brigadier General Michael Walsh for calling her "ma'am?" She said:

You know, do me a favor? Could you say 'senator' instead of 'ma'am? It's just a thing, I worked so hard to get that title, so I'd appreciate it.

The General was a piece of furniture to her, even though he worked so hard, too, to reach the rank of Brigadier General.

No “ma’am”, no title, nothing signifying any respect or acknowledgement.
I remember that exchange very well. She was a POS.
