“Airport malaria” is a thing? Who knew?
We flew into Frankfurt on our trip. Last Saturday, we stayed at the Marriott at Frankfurt airport the night before our Lufthansa flight home. I got a cold about 2/3 through our 20 day trip. I don’t think I have malaria.
A mile hike through Frankfurt airport have those little buggers plenty of time to bite me.
If a mosquito was in luggage, it likely would have gotten squashed.
If it was in the cabin, it would have gotten swatted.
If it was in unpressurized space in the aircraft, it would have exploded at high altitude.
I suspect a nasty person is trying to bring malaria to Germany.

Saw a YTUbe video about malaria. Killed more people than anything except communism. Used to be all over US south. Killed thousands of kiddies — until US troops fighting Japs started dropping.
So, an international program wiped out malaria across the world, except in Africa. Why? ‘Cause central Africa has an especially virulent version of malaria and the entire continent lacks ports that allow ships to bring in stuff in bulk. THAT is why Africa is doomed, not colonialism. At least until anti-gravity is discovered.
