The Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner was criticized after a series of posts on X Sunday targeting a diverse group of students at the Texas football game. Bo French shared a photo of students of South Asian descent cheering for the Longhorns after their Saturday night win over Ohio State and wrote that “social media is exposing how many Americans have been displaced by foreigners.”

I got this from an alum and insider.
The University of Texas is really the University of the World.
Priorities go like this:
1. Foreign students: They pay the highest tuition paid by their home countries.
2. Minorities from outside of Texas.
3. Minorities from inside Texas.
4. Top 5% of Texas high school graduates. Those kids get the leftovers and are a minority. I have visited the campus many times and it appears to be the University of Calcutta or China.
If you are not in one of those groups, you are SOL.
The consolation prize is UTSA, UT Arlington and on and on.
The top five percent makes up most of the slots, and if you are outside of that five percent, Bevo will not consider you.
After That, if your daddy writes Bevo a big check, they might let you in.
Foreign born students make up around five percent of the undergraduates. Graduate school is a higher percent.
If you walk around the UT Campus, for the most part, the students that are South Asian were born in DFW, Houston or Austin with U.S. citizenship.
Which is why he'll soon be out of his cushy gub'mint job. But I'm sure the K streeters will be happy to hire him.
Fantastic answer!
Reminds me of when I was in history class in 11th grade and the class know-it-all said to the teacher that 27 million Russians were killed in WW2. The girl sitting next to me piped up and said, "What were their names?" I laughed so hard I almost almost wet my pants.
Well, that and do you understand what Anglo-Saxon refers to?
