I know Bush is hated here on Free Republic.
What I don’t know is when this happened.
9-11 was before my time here, but I suspect people here were supportive of him at one time. What I don’t know is when that changed..
My guess is around 2008.
He was adored here.
It was his ways of war.
And his coziness with leftists and Muslims
Trump's public position in 2016 that the 2003 invasion of Iraq was a stupid thing to do pretty much made GWB persona non grata here on FR.
Trump had stated the sentiments that people here on FR were once vilified for.
Although Trump started his own stupid war; maybe the feelings will shift back towards GWB.
