Question for the defense.
Doesn't the request for a pardon imply guilt?
It's generally a bad practice to execute lawyers along with their clients, no matter how sleazy those lawyers might be, but in this case, one must wonder if we should make an exception.
Last week, Reddington was criticized for informing the media that there was a lone jury holdout, indicating that the holdout was male, and trying to remove the holdout from the case.
Many people interpreted this as jury intimidation so Clancy could get a "not guilty" verdict for methodically and systematically choking the life out of her three young kids.
He is now making the circuit on national TV to make a circus out of the ongoing legal proceedings.

Had Lindsey killed three of her husbands friends, she’d already be in prison now.
He wants desperately to drag Trump into this.
The Tina Peters thing was odd. Trump did “pardon” her, but it was a symbolic gesture. It had no force in law, and everybody knew it. As noted earlier, a president cannot pardon a state crime.
But Trump’s “pardon” did have value, as it brought attention to how badly she was treated.
This lawyer is one of those who cause people to despise lawyers.
Dude is in it for the clients. Period.
Perhaps he’s trying to goad Trump into saying something outrageous, something that will “taint the jury pool”.
This.
How the ‘Ell does this meatbag expect a Fed pardon to apply to a state murder charge?
You’d have to be a regular watcher of GOODMOorninAmerica to be stupid enough to believe that.
Why would the Governor be reluctant to grant a preemptive pardon? Didn’t she just sign a law legalizing infanticide without a hint of shame or reluctance? Or was that in some other crazy Northeastern libtard State?
President Ford did not agree with you.
“Perhaps he’s trying to goad Trump into saying something outrageous, something that will “taint the jury pool”.”
That is my thought precisely. “Hell, Judge, Trump just announced how evil this woman is and therefore we would never be able to find an objective jury.”
False narratives.
As I said I’m not a longstanding fan of hers so I’m not aware of her past except for a book about avoiding being a crime victim.
I bow to your superior knowledge.
Trump gave her a pass.
The pardon request was worth a try.
He’s giving Lindsay’s fan club something to talk about and agitate for, but any pardon is probably years away.
“Doesn’t a pardon require a guilty verdict” before a pardon can be handed down. And yes, I believe so.
I don’t think so look at Fauci.
but those were federal crimes, this was a state crime and the Atty is just Grandstanding.
“”but those were federal crimes, this was a state crime and the Atty is just Grandstanding.””
***
I think so, too. Somebody probably gave him the idea to put Trump on the spot. It would be a lose-lose deal even IF Trump was able to pardon Clancy. And Reddington and his leftist buds know that. Another leftie gimmick.
Another sign of the times.
You’d never dream of this happening, years ago.
Liberals are emboldened beyond belief.

Brass balls.
