Doesn't the request for a pardon imply guilt?
It's generally a bad practice to execute lawyers along with their clients, no matter how sleazy those lawyers might be, but in this case, one must wonder if we should make an exception.
Last week, Reddington was criticized for informing the media that there was a lone jury holdout, indicating that the holdout was male, and trying to remove the holdout from the case.
Many people interpreted this as jury intimidation so Clancy could get a "not guilty" verdict for methodically and systematically choking the life out of her three young kids.
He is now making the circuit on national TV to make a circus out of the ongoing legal proceedings.

I think the question should be.... “Doesn’t a pardon require a guilty verdict” before a pardon can be handed down. And yes, I believe so.
Not that he should, but how could Trump pardon her? Since when is she accused of a federal crime?
I never followed Nancy Grace but happened to see her on recent segments on the Clancy murder case.
I was really appreciative of her ruthlessly scathing verbal attacks on the sleazy defense attorney Reddington.
He deserved every moment of it.
Oh no doubt. I was saying way before President Trump did, the hsve so much hate in their hearts for him even if he discovered a cure for cancer they would find a problem with it.
It must be absolutely exhausting to carry around all that hatred.
Clancyâs lawyer is not stupid. Heâs got to know that the president cannot pardon a state crime. So whatâs his play here?
Perhaps heâs trying to goad Trump into saying something outrageous, something that will âtaint the jury poolâ.
