This is due to the exceptionally strong El Nino this year.......
In the Atlantic it has only been Eduardo in gulf of America quickly downgraded to TS then. … a depression. Hawaii was hit by low CAT and said not in very many decades. Worldwide weather and water temp greatly affected Hunga Tonga (sic) and several other submarine volcanic seamounts erupting. And, like, last week Krakatoa (really had an event) within the Ring of Fire. You are quite right. It is a blessing to US Atlantic coast.
