From videos I’ve seen it looks like the pilot flying was fighting a quartering crosswind and/or windshear and landed too fast and too long. I never saw the spoilers deploy on rollout. Pilot should have initiated a go-around. Maybe a go-around was attempted but was rejected/failed for some reason.
In any case, barring mechanical failure, the pilots will be ex-pilots.
On another board someone mentioned that the flaps were wrong. There is a video of the landing before the crash.......
