BEL AIRE, Kan. (KAKE) — A 21-year-old woman has been charged with multiple felonies after she allegedly shot at a group of girls who had just egged her house in Bel Aire over the weekend.
Sedgwick County court records show Ericya Burns is charged with criminal discharge of a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault. Her first court appearance was held Thursday afternoon.
Officers with the Bel Aire Police Department responded at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to the report of a possible drive-by shooting in the 5300 block of North Lycee Street. They located and collected several spent shell casings from the area and interviewed two individuals who were initially believed to be victims.
Police said during the initial investigation, the two women told officers that a group of approximately five females, some of whom were under the age of 18, had arrived at the residence and egged the house. They further reported that as the group left the area in a white Jeep, several rounds were fired toward them.
During the subsequent follow-up investigation, Bel Aire Police officers located the white Jeep. Officers observed bullet holes in the vehicle. The occupants of the Jeep had been shot at by a person from the house they egged, police said.
Interviews were conducted, and investigators obtained a search warrant for the home Lycee Street.
Bel Aire police served the search warrant and detained Burns and Semia Arbertha. Following the service of the search warrant and subsequent interviews, two women were arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail.

Neighbor trash
Had to look closer. Thought that thing in her nose was a massive booger. But no.
If you’re living in the Bel Aire part of LA, CA,
you absolutely do not
want your home egged, and see nothing cute or innocent about it.
As Howard once said to Bob on the Bob Newhart show, ‘She’s a little light in the piazza.
Hard to tell from the booking picture, but she is Diverse.
That might cure the egg heads from doing it again.
Said she shot at but didn’t hit the girls.
Part left out:
And up from the ground came some bubblin’ crude.
🤣
Yeah, probably a little short of “I thought my life was in danger” but she could plead temporary psychosis.
Twelve years ago, I lived in the exact same block where this happened. It was a decent area then, but I would not want to live there now. Things have really gone downhill since.
I don’t think they’ll be doing it again. Give her probation and let’s wrap this up
The real Ma Barker had better aim most of the years. One of her sons helped her at home in the shootout against the FBI.
The FBI and Ma Barker and son shootout on January 16, 1935, in Ocklawaha, Florida, lasted for about four and a half hours and involved approximately 800 rounds fired in total. 250 rounds shot by Barker and son from the house.

the egg throwers needed to be shot ... they earned it ...
I’m on her side without any knowledge of details.
Now you know why the door to door salesman did so well with Kevlar vests back then.

That’s as cookie cutter as it gets.
The 360 view is creepy.
The house with the light pole in front has got to be the envy of the neighborhood.
I may have confused Bel Aire for one of those places like Laurel Canyon, the city which inspired album
“Ladies of the Canyon” by Joni Mitchell.
The name sounds far more impressive than the fact.
Horrible sterile street.
A garage should not present as the front of a house...
