It’s NOT aliens. It’s WITCH COVENS. These law enforcement officers haven’t been alive long enough to know! When I was in college, it was happening in western Oregon and everyone knew it was witches, warlocks…. My future brother in law and I went up in the hills and actually found them one night. They had been sending threatening messages to the church. We sneaked up on them one night and they were all dressed in hooded black gowns in a large circle chanting around a fire doing who knows what. Unfortunately, they SAW US and started chasing us as we ran back to the car! F’ing VW of his had starter issues and they were pounding on the windows, but we got out! If I hadn’t been mildly drunk, I would have shit my boxers. We told the newspaper and after the publicity, it stopped. Needless to say, we never went witch hunting anymore! Looks like they moved to eastern Oregon because it’s more rural over there now. TRUE STORY, I’m not pulling your leg…..

I did an online search and found this.

In 1979, the Washington County (Arkansas) Sheriff’s Department conducted a controlled experiment to test if natural decomposition could mimic cattle mutilations. Researchers placed an euthanized heifer in a field and observed it for 48 hours, documenting the effects of scavengers and bacterial activity.

Results: The experiment demonstrated that postmortem bloating caused the cow’s skin to tear in incision-like patterns that matched descriptions of “surgical” cuts.
Scavenger Activity: Blowflies and maggots rapidly consumed soft tissues, while scavenging birds removed parts like eyes and cheeks, replicating the specific organ removals reported in mutilation cases.
Conclusion: The findings supported the theory that many reported mutilations were the result of natural predation and decomposition rather than unknown forces, a conclusion echoed by the FBI which closed its investigation citing common predators as the cause.

There really is a longstanding cattle-mutilation phenomenon in Oregon, particularly in central and eastern Oregon. But the important distinction is between what is genuinely documented and the much more speculative explanations.

As of 2026, the basic situation is:

Ranchers have reported dozens of unusual cattle deaths in Oregon over many decades. A recent KTVZ investigation says there have been numerous cases in central and eastern Oregon and that some investigations remain unresolved.
The cases often involve removal of tongues, jaws, reproductive organs, rectal tissue, ears or eyes, sometimes producing remarkably clean-looking edges.
Some ranchers report little or no blood, few tracks, and little evidence of a struggle.

Law enforcement has investigated some cases, including federal involvement historically, but there has been no demonstrated perpetrator or confirmed explanation for the genuinely anomalous cases.

There were also at least seven reported new cases in central Oregon between 2019 and 2021, according to a 2025 investigation.

So what is really going on?

I would separate the cases into three categories:

1. Ordinary cattle deaths subsequently altered by nature.
This is probably responsible for a substantial proportion of the broader “mutilation” phenomenon. A cow dies from disease, poisoning, injury, lightning, etc., and then decomposition, insects and scavengers remove soft tissue. The resulting edges can look surprisingly precise.

2. Genuine unexplained deaths.
This is the interesting part. Some Oregon cases don’t fit comfortably into the ordinary scavenging explanation, especially when ranchers find multiple animals with similar missing anatomical parts. In several cases, however, the carcass wasn’t examined quickly enough to establish how the animal died. That’s a major forensic problem.

3. Deliberate human mutilation.
This remains a possibility in at least some cases. Someone could kill an animal and remove particular tissues. But despite decades of cases, investigators haven’t produced convincing evidence of an organized perpetrator.

And what about UFOs?

That’s where the evidence gets much weaker.

There is no solid evidence that extraterrestrials are responsible. UFO/UAP theories became attached to cattle mutilations because some incidents occurred alongside alleged strange lights or UFO sightings. But that’s correlation, not evidence of causation.

What’s genuinely strange is that some individual cases remain unexplained—not that we have evidence they were done by aliens.

And there’s an interesting wrinkle: the phenomenon isn’t just an old 1970s story. Oregon ranchers have continued reporting cases in recent years, and the subject was serious enough to become the focus of the 2025 documentary Not One Drop of Blood.

"F’ing VW of his had starter issues"

Did his VW have the six volt starter? The battery in a VW was under the back seat, the ignition switch in front and the starter in the rear.

Six volts just wasn't enough to push the juice that far. We would use a screwdriver directly on the starter contacts to kick it over. Just make sure the car wasn't in gear!

It happened to our bull in 1976. We had a 20 acre farm 15 miles up the hills above White Salmon, Washington. No blood, no signs of a struggle, pecker and balls were surgically removed.

What? So Aliens can’t have witch covens? better to be draining cows than humans.

Anyway, cows are probably too big and heavy to get up into their spacecraft for experimentation.

There’s nothing new here except this may be the latest incident of cattle mutilations, which have been going on for decades - most of century. Linda Moulton Howe is the expert in this area, having written a book years back called “Strange Harvest.” Her accounts match what is going on today. These animals are teleported up into the craft, operated on, and then dropped to the ground leaving no tracks around the animal. Logic says it is not our special ops since they don’t need to rustle cattle to get blood or body parts.
