No it hasn't. In a sanctuary jurisdiction detainers from ICE have less effect than a strongly worded reprimand. And it's the fault of ICE and US DOJ.

The US attorney in Los Angeles figured this out and started a program with a bunch of junior attorneys who do nothing but crank out warrants all day. ICE shows up with a warrant and they *MUST* deliver the miscreant, no ifs, ands or buts. They're grabbing hundreds of illegals from LAPD/LASD and the libs are foaming at the mouth because there is NOTHING they can do to stop it.

ICE/DOJ needs to get off it ass and start using warrants.
