US forces destroy 3 Iranian oil tankers near Kharg Island and Gulf of Oman: ‘You have 3 minutes’

The United States military destroyed three Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps crude oil tankers in the Persian Gulf Saturday – after Iran launched ballistic missiles at two US Navy vessels.

Footage shows large tankers blown up in flames, as a thick plume of black smoke rise off the sea.

A US military aircraft crew can be heard over radio warning an oil tanker near Kharg Island, before unleashing a barrage of missiles that lit the vessel in flames.

“I’m preparing to fire. …You have three minutes to clear the crew,” the US is heard in a video filmed aboard a nearby vessel, obtained by Iran International.

Crew members can be heard speaking in Persian and Urdu, and asking whether the ship’s captain was at his post — before realizing he was still asleep.

“This was your final warning,” the US crew says before firing at the tanker, which was first sanctioned by Washington in 2018. “Get into your lifeboats and abandon the ship immediately.”

Two of the struck ships were in the Gulf of Oman, and the third was anchored off Kharg Island — Iran’s key export hub through which 90% of its crude exports flowed before the war.

Earlier Saturday, Iran reported four missiles struck one of its oil tankers anchored six miles from the island, according to state media Tasnim.

“You have three minutes to clear the crew,” the US is heard warning in a video obtained by Iran International.

Now that Trump unnecessarily started this war in February / first of March quit pussy footing around and finish the damn thing!

The actions today were a necessary part of an unnecessary situation. They probably would not have been necessary at all if Trump had not been so hot to trot to further attack Iran in March.

Yeah, this was not necessary and Trump admitted that himself in June on NBC 60 Minutes this year in an interview with the wench Welker.

It isn’t just that this was unnecessary it is his current attitude, “this is small potatoes”. $6 diesel is not small potatoes and prices have not come down as he said they would. He seems to be projecting Marie Antoinette these days. That comment by him this week has pissed me off more than most of his other thoughtless and insensitive ones of the past year and a half. Never mind that he has over promised and under delivered and shifted tactics and goals since the start of his “little excursion”.

Right now, after all of the last 6 months upheaval, Iran is no closer to a nuclear weapon than they were after our participation in Midnight Hammer the night of June 22, 2025 and they are no further away from that either. The last 6 months have not even destroyed their ability to make themselves a menace with conventional weapons. No treaty with Iran has any strength or meaning insofar as their nuclear program. They can sign anything and start again at any time. Neither does any agreement for inspections change a thing. Does anyone think they are going to lead anyone inspecting to all of their facilities and not try to hide them? So just what good has the last six months done? Does the action merit the disruption in the world it has caused? Not in my opinion. For almost 8 months after Midnight Hammer there was no Iranian action, the Straits of Hormuz were fully open. Trump poked this skunk without good reasons and with less tangible result. He could have just done Midnight Hammer again if necessary, he pretty much said that himself in June of this year. Without regime change that takes over Iran and erases their belligerent system no amount of war will be successful.

This war is no less a trumped up action than LBJ’s Gulf of Tonkin incident or Bush’s weapons of mass destruction threat. Trump knows this, he knows he got sucked into it on February 28. He admitted as much several times in early June when he realized what a corner he is in and began to back peddle. This was maybe the first time he did so in the horrible interview with Welker who was inflammatory and he eventually walked out. Starting at about the 12 minute mark he says that the nuclear material is buried and only we or the chicoms can reach it and that if they tried to get at the material we would know immediately and stop them just as quickly. So why have we been fighting again since February 28?

The job of preventing a nuclear Iran was done in the summer of ‘25 during the bombing raids of Midnight Hammer. We did that once and we could do it again. Whatever else has been done since was not to prevent Iran getting nuclear weapons, it has been about missiles and now Hormuz if it has been for any reason. The claim of nearly 500 kilos of 60% material made to Kushner and Walsh in negotiations in late February of ‘26 was a bluff or boast. Trump took that bait and led us to the continuing war we are in now.

Welker was intentionally provocative and it worked. She got Trump mad enough to leave. Frankly, I would have punched just her in the face long before Trump left but hey, I’m not a politician.

You can shoot the messenger but here is a montage of Trump saying the nuclear material is inaccessible, in other words, Iran no longer has a nuclear capability program and claiming to prevent that is what this has all been about since February 28 is misleading at best. The twist is, once stopped they can start again at any time until they are stopped over and over and over again. The only way to control the regime of Iran is to be there stopping them and then replacing them with anyone more favorable, not likely within the budget we are willing to spend.

The brilliant part for Trump now is to get out of the mess that was started on false pretenses or a mistake at best without further world wide upheaval.

Shortly Before

Exciting scene. Lloyd plays the perfect Klingon nemesis.

Sad to see classic ScFi movies and series going woke. Injecting homosexuals and trans into SiFi movies offend many movie goers yet Hollywood continues to produce their politically correct and morally bankrupt crap.
