Fox says Baritromo 'betrayed her employers' while they boldly serve the interests of their employers in China?I've seen reports which try to smear Baritromo as a major litigation liability ('reckless reporting') and point to impending litigation against her as if lawfare will cover their actions to influence the 2020 elections and protect China.

Classifying a position as hidden that the network should wear proudly and openly if they really believed it is not exactly what I thought of when I considered possible reasons for a reporter not to report. (a whistleblower or spy ops where rrevelation of identities could lead to harm are the kind that might make sense).

What exactly does “illicit” even mean in this context? If this was ILLEGAL, then say so. But the report doesn’t say this because this was NOT illegal. And it was not illegal because voter records are public information. So what exactly was “illicit” about this? And how were these records “compromised” if they are public records?

When you are lying to the American people, concealing and manipulating the truth it is not betrayal to call you out, it is integrity, Fox management (Paul Ryan, anyone) is betraying their responsibility to truthfully report the news & the facts. Working for a company does not come with an agreement to conceal malfeasance.
Fox caved to Dominion for reasons of their own. Other Dominion lawsuits were dropped by Dominion. Fox was either gutless or complicit. Blaming the rare journalist seeking to uncover and present the truth is a searing indictment of Fox, the RINO media company.

Perhaps she did leak or not. I suspect she did. However, it is common practice for the media to leak to leftists’ government agencies and other media outlets, and nothing happens. During the Obama and Biden administration it was an open pipeline on a daily basis without consequences.

Fox had to pay Dominion $787.5 million for false statements that Dominion’s voting machines had been rigged to steal the 2020 United States presidential election from then-president Donald Trump. With that loss, I believe Fox was making sure no one would cause them to go through that disaster again.
