Not really a good example since most red flag laws generally require specific evidence or testimony in court showing the person is an immediate threat to commit violence or self-harm. That is significantly different than the hypothetical claim that “One day you’ll take a public stand against your city council and you will be MARKED and tracked/harrassed by your town or county police until you throw in the towel and move.” Furthermore, there are actions the accused (for lack of a better term) can take to contest the claim.
