Interestingly, there had been a poll on the question whether the inhabitants wanted to stay with Germany or join the new Czechoslovak state in spring 1919.

Hovewer, the poll had never been considered binding by the Entente powers, thus the Hlucinsko went to Czechoslovakia in early 1920.
