KOB 4 shared further:
Authorities arrested Jevon Martinez for damaging Flock cameras in Rio Rancho in May. Then, Wednesday, he posted video on social media appearing to show him driving around Albuquerque and taking down automated license plate readers once again.
In those videos, he comments that since the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office ended its contract with Flock last month, those cameras should no longer be out on the streets.
“Just for the record, I am not stealing these. I am not destroying them. I am simply returning them to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department,” he said in one video.
Martinez, who goes by “Johnvon Thechamp” on social media, said his issue isn’t with BCSO, but rather with Flock, whose automated license plate readers have become a major topic of controversy around the country.
The cameras can track locations and store identifying information about your vehicle, and there have been concerns police have been using the cameras for personal matters such as tracking former romantic partners.
“They are a clear and present threat to public safety,” Martinez previously said about the license plate reader cameras.

well I commend this man for action in what he believes!! I am against taking out surveillance because of the amount of scum in society, but if youre against it, instead of sitting behind a keyboard and go out and back up your talk, well then I tip my hat!!
I hope his slap on the wrist is not too painful!
What we have here is a failure to communicate..
The New Not Guilty!
Charge the idiot with the damage. When they need to go back up, call the perp. He’ll do it.
Another REAL AMERICAN, at least to us (other than the retired cops here).

My favorite movie of all time, and it made big impact on me.
Who thinks these stupid things are not an invasion of privacy. Straight out of ‘1984’?
It’s on YouTube now for free. Probably watched it twenty times.
I crack up when I see Paul and Strother together in “Slapshot”.

She was cast well for the scene and her dialogue must have been great, because she sure could communicate.
