Bartiromo broke some big stories in her career, especially back in her CNBC days.
Maybe it was a dispute over a contract renewal. From Fox Business' current roster, her best replacement would be Charles Payne.
This one shocked because I think that hers was the most-watched show on the network. Too much politics, but she still had some interesting business and finance types as regular guests.
Could be the next Press Secretary.

I stopped watching FAUX News several years ago, but the DH still DVRs and watches some shows. Maria’s is among them.
I am in another room with the door closed when he watches most of these programs. Can’t tell you how good Maria is at what she does, but I can say someone needs to tell her to tone down the volume. Her voice and that of the annoying Dana Perino drill right through the door and attack my poor ears.
I will not miss her.

Her experience and news record gained her lots of “gets”. That is, interviews that to others were not able to get.
I am sorry to see her leaving Fox Business. I watch that Fox network as there are not a ton of News Barbies but business reporters/hosts who are not just a pretty face.
Where will she pop up? It’s doubtful she will just fade out of the business.
I think it has more to do with doing her own thing.
Remember she left CNBC and came to Fox Business with the promise of doing multiple shows on Fox Business and Fox News.
If you look at the numbers, she could start a podcast, work far fewer hours, make the same or more money in the process.
If you look at the viewership of the top podcasters they dwarf cable news, in a matter of months she would probably have a much larger audience than she was getting on Fox Business or Fox News.
If you look at Megyn Kelly, after she got fired from NBC, she has now started a podcast and has nearly 5 million subscribers on YouTube and is probably making more money that she was making on NBC or Fox.
She’s the only one I bother to pre-record.
Well, they are screwed (FBN). The people who usually fill in for her—I mean Cheryl—are insufferable. They are going to have to dig deep to find someone willing, qualified, and able to do a morning show.
I have to believe that she just ticked off the management too much. Although I thought she had been a little too “pro trump” in her coverage. She used to be pretty much right down the middle, which is what you need in a host of a show like that.
She is relatively young, so I imagine we will see her somewhere else.
It’s been a long three weeks without her on. Clearly, something was up.
Who knows…maybe she was a bear to work with. Maybe she was a closet DSA agent? It will take a few days for the leaks to come out.
We know for sure she was one of the WEF picks.
