Starts at the 15 minute mark. Sept. 13, 2005. 3rd hour. It's 20 minutes of I cant believe this. Rush even snores during her argument and sums it up with 'no wonder there's so many divorces out there'.

Hearing Rush’s voice again....
I miss him.
It’s his voice. I miss it and play him in the early morning for 2 hours.
It’s Donna in South Windsor, Connecticut.
that site looks awesome. Do you use it much?
So, what the hell was her question? Or was she just word-salading to hear herself talk? I woulda hung up on her.
Miss Rush sooooo much (lol at him snoring).
Every morning for 2 hours. In Aug/Sept. 2005 the issues were different and they all came back. He knocked them down.
>So, what the hell was her question? Or was she just word-salading to hear herself talk? I woulda hung up on her.<
That was the beauty of Rush. He let them talk.
That’s priceless...I would have heard this at the time (2005) as I had Rush on the radio at my desk in CA from nine to noon 5 days a week...Do I remember it? 21 years later - of course not but I would have hung up on her...She had to be a dem - only they can talk that long and say nothing. Mrs. Schumer, indeed. Rush was the best!!
“”Miss Rush sooooo much (lol at him snoring).””
She not only talked nonstop, she didn’t even get the “snoring” bit...She wanted to talk and Rush was not going to get in her way...

That’s the impression I got, as well. I never did get the “”point”” she was attempting to make. She sounds like a perfect example of the ‘level of intelligence’ that we have permeating the Democrat seats of Congress right about now.

I was working in SF in the 80s. One of the guys came in from the road and said: you got to listen to this guy in Sacramento, I know you would love him.
I just mentioned to my wife yesterday, I MISS Rush. I well up whenever I read his wife’s book about him. No one, ever IMO, will ever approach his pull. Often imitated never duplicated.
The one I recall was some clown arguing for universal healthcare. Rush said to him why not ask your neighbor to pay your medical bills. The dope was dumb enough to say I doubt he would do that. Rush followed up with and neither do I.
I’d like to have all his shows on a fire stick so I could walk wear it on a necklace-unlimited access.
Repeal the 19th.
I remember Rush arguing against Hillary’s health care plan...I was told about him by one of the guys who was a student my husband was training at our flying club in OC..never stopped listening to Rush UNTIL we moved out of CA. Too late to catch here in GA at noon with the day well on its way to more productive things.
Watched one of those “Unforgettable” murder stories on TV last week and Rio Linda played a part in it...LOL..and no joking - a real trash heap of a house and trailer..
Let a fefail talk long enough and they will tell on themselves.
Thanks for posting
You are welcome my friend. There will be more as I listen to him daily. I always wished that some of his best callers were bunched into one big recording. It would be very teachable for others. If the owners of his work were aware there’d be a big market for it especially in old folks homes. I would call it “Rush’s Greatest Hits’.
Thanks for the tip about Rush’s wife’s book. I’ll have to look for it. I didn’t know she had written one. I just placed an order with thriftbooks.com for 10 used books so I’ll have to be content with those for awhile....
I say we FReepers have to get together on our love of books - recommendations etc. From what I see, there aren’t a lot of book lovers here - we can have our own little book club...
I thought GW acted appropriately & responsibly to Katrina. Texas has a significant coastline and history of hurricane disasters. As its former governor, Mr. Bush knew the protocol for requesting aid started with requests by local & state government. Though as I recall and as Rush reminded us, GW reached out and made offers beforehand —- that were turned down.
It's also quite amazing to learn from Donna that both as Governor & President, GW only took actions that would benefit him with his base. Not a few of us among his supporters have wished that were a bit more true.
It would be great to have topic or subject indexes for his shows, and while I am wishing, also by the characters - the recurring callers.
Thank you again DS, you made a lot of us Dittoheads very happy. And yes, that reasoning is very much like El-Sayed.
