they have had traffic surveillance cameras out for over 30 years. And just the last year or so they, someone, started calling them Flock cameras. They did the same damned thing to people 5... 10.... 15 years ago!! Where were all you tin foil hat dudes then!!
Ya get one friggin instance where it fits perfectly into your “Flock Camera Hysteria” and here ya go!! We’re Doomed!!
The guy did nothing wrong!! He was tracked with a “Flock Cameras” and it was found HE STILL DID NOTHING WRONG!!
Stop trying so hard! It’s embarrassing...
Strawman and and intentionally false argument.
The traffic cameras out for decades were stop-light camera or toll camera, and they specifically tracked running red lights or tolls. Also, some speeding cameras again for actually speeding, not tracking.
None of those were used to track movements, Flock watches large swatches of areas specifically for the tracking / surveillance with no suspected crime being commited, unlike all the cameras you are referring to.
You rant is rejected for being a sophist tactic and for its feigned emotional tone if indignant righteous anger.
So, the harassment and illegal arrest don’t bother you? Something we should all expect to put up with, and get over it?
This is not the first time or even the hundredth time they have been abused like this. There are stories for months now about cops abusing the system.
My problem isn’t so much the cameras but how they are used and since they cannot stop the abuse, I am against the cameras till they come out with a foolproof method of stopping the abuse by police.
Post #17. It took 17 posts before the hardcore bootlicker showed up.
You’re conflating
“Hey, XYZ 123 just ran that red light. Let’s figure out who owns that car through the State records and send him a citation in the mail.”
with
“Hey, who’s been driving XYZ 123 today down on Sleazy St? Let’s look it up in the Flock data-base and go wait for him at his house. We need to have a little talk about his broken tail light - that damage wasn’t there yesterday.”
Flock is the name of one of the companies.
