Leonardo SignalTrace sensors passively detect Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and RFID identifiers from phones, wearables, and car systems to create electronic fingerprints linking devices to vehicles for law enforcement tracking. (3 min video)

ransomnote: The body of the post is about FLOCK cameras, but the video explains the service interupting her car bluetooth is likely Leonardo SignalTrace sensors which are being rolled out. GROK's analysis below seems to confirm this.

Wall Street Apes

@WallStreetApes

American says she always has the Bluetooth in her car cutout randomly for 1-2 seconds at a time, she couldn’t figure out why

She finally figured it out. It’s the flock safety cameras. Every time she drives by a flock cameras whether it’s an intersection or parking lot, her Bluetooth temporarily cuts out

She believes the flock is reading the Bluetooth of her car, which ironically there is a new service called SignalTrace that’s essentially an expansion on Flock that does identify you and all your passengers by your device signals. It’s not Flock but SignalTrace sensors are out near or on Flock camera’s poles sometimes

Flock’s hardware emits the same Bluetooth band as Bluetooth audio in your car so there can be interference. What she’s saying is real

Those of you that are happy about all this surveillance better take into account that Republicans can easily turn on us, and Dims can definitely use these powerful privacy-killers on us. A company like Flock will do the bidding of whoever pays them.

Fight this crap now or lose your freedoms.

It will sure be fun when they sell everything to advertisers and take over signals to make us hear ads.

Guess what also broadcasts a unique ID:

TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) became mandatory for all new passenger cars and light trucks in the United States for the 2008 model year, with full compliance required for vehicles manufactured after September 1, 2007

TPMS sensors broadcast on Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) radio waves, typically operating at 315 MHz in North America and 433 MHz in Europe and other regions. These low-power signals (approximately 250μW) transmit data including a unique sensor ID, tire pressure, and temperature from the wheel to the vehicle’s receiver antenna, which may be located on the windshield, in the wheel well, or integrated with the keyless entry system.

The system uses an internal MEMS accelerometer to wake the sensor when the vehicle reaches a threshold speed (typically 15–20 mph), causing it to broadcast data every 30–120 seconds while driving to conserve battery. If a rapid pressure drop is detected, the sensor immediately transmits an emergency signal. During service or relearn procedures, technicians use a 125 kHz Low Frequency (LF) signal to "ping" specific sensors, forcing them to transmit their ID for proper vehicle registration.
